It is a nice wooden temple in old town. If you are staying near or in the old town, I recommend to visit several beautiful temples including this one.

We really enjoyed the wooden architecture here, which made the visit special. The ceiling is particularly nice and the alms bowls easy to reach to fill.

This is one of the temples we visited as part of our half day self guided walking tour of the old city. The temple is quite nice. There are no entrance fees but donations are welcome for maintainance for the temple.

Nice quiet stop next to Wat Chedi Luang. Beautiful to walk around the serene gardens. It originally was built as a palace for one of the Kings of Chiang Mai.

Unlike Chedid Luang (which is really close to this temple), Wat Pan Tao is smaller, quiet and less touristic - you can feel the energy and relax. The wooden construction and the gardens are beautiful! Worth the visit to relax after going to Chedid Luang.

Very nice temple made of wood. You can take a little walk outside, it's very charming. Flags everywhere make the place colorful.
