A family run cooking class established in 2001. We began with a small class size. Even though our business has seen tremendous growth, we have decided that this size maintains the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. Yui (Siripen Sriyabhaya), Thailand's international TV chef still teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality of instruction. Her expertise attracts a variety of students such as, TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary school teachers, international Thai cooking instructors, food columnists, cookbook authors, tourists, and food lovers.Yui's unique blend of art and science truly make cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. When students cook these delicious dishes in class, they are equipped with the skills and knowledge to be able to recreate these dishes at home.

Yui makes this class fun. No cooking skills needed. This class is little more expensive than the other cooking schools but worth it. A lot of things are covered in such a short time. They even allow small changes based on food taste. I would definitely take another class if I was in the area. The recipe book is professional.... More

I'm so happy I chose Yui's class. There are a lot of cooking courses to choose from, but I feel confident I chose the best one. I've worked in the hospitality business for 10+ years (cook, sommelier, manager) and I can assure you that Yui is both extremely knowledgeable and professional, yet also has a fantastic sense of humor and... A visit to Chiang Mai is not complete without a visit to Yui's home cooking class! Our travel guide arranged the short course for my husband and I to participate in, and simply put, we had an incredible time! Kwan, Yui's husband, promptly picked us up from our hotel and whisked us off to their home where we were educated... More

Yui and Kwan have turned their home into the best cooking class in Chiang Mai! Yui is well-spoken, kind, funny, and very intelligent. Her demonstration process is thorough and easy to follow while she explains why she performs each step in her certain way. We made Pad Thai, Tom Yum soup with prawns, and curry and everything was to die... More

Not only is the cooking process itself demonstrated in such a charismatic way by Yui, but we also had a host of insights into the rationale for different styles of cooking and selection of ingredients.

This was 3 years ago when I did the cooking class and I still remember it so well. Such a nice and warm ambiance. Yui is so passionate about cooking and her country...I loved it. Always remembering that fantastic day! I can 100% recommend it!

If you like cooking, you have to go to "A lot of Thai". Yui is such a charming and entertaining person. It's fun to learn from her. We took the short class. Got picked up about ten. The class ended about four hours later.

Yui is funny and charming, and the recipes are fairly straightforward. She taught us some new cooking techniques and introduced us to ingredients we haven't used before. The food we cooked was AMAZING.

We booked this cooking class with Yui spontaneously, without much background research and were so glad to have met her. Yui shared her passion for cooking and indepth knowledge about the Thai kitchen and cooking methods. She's an absolute food fanatic, questioning everything and striving for balanced flavours. This is definitely a class well worth taking, not your usual tourist... More
