Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great arts cooperative with incredible studios, hands-on creative experiences, fun, unique spaces and studios. Lots of small cafes too. The architecture and landscape architecture is eclectic and fun. Take your wallet - while not expensive, there is A LOT to choose from. Recommend going early - it gets super crowded.

What a find! Was Told about this at the hotel and it actually didn’t come up in any of my searches but n trip advisor or elsewhere but it should have. This is an artists dream and photographers too. It’s a little hideaway off that side of road with alleys and pathways filled with trees, little art shops, art activities, jewlery making, juice bars etc. live music as well. It’s beautifully decorated and just has such a calming vibe to it. Totally fell in love here.

Super cute and tranquil place. The craft isn’t really Thai necessarily. There’s lots of pottery and other art. It is on the expensive side, but a really great place to wander. We did eat there and the food was actually really delicious. We ate by the kao soi noodle shop - my son had the kao soi noodles and my husband and other son and I ate the pork rice plates. They were all two thumbs up!

I had to write after reading the review dissing this place for not being authentic thai. It's a pleasant oasis of small shops, some greenery, snacks and an escape from the heat and the city. The focus is on providing hands on opportunities, as well as locally made products, looks like sime of the artists studios are on site. There is a range of products and quality and talent, and a lot of the products and the activities seemed oriented to the young and feminine. But it's real arts and crafts, not traditional but authentic modern thai, a relief from mass production and the usual tourist traps. I was impressed by some of the shops at the back, bought a ceramic, enjoyed a sorbet in the raised treehouse style seating area.

Nicely curated maze of small workshops. Crowded. Handmade items but nothing authentic Thai and many of not great quality ( most European would find much better designed clothes, pottery, art etc). Nice place for kids to get hands on. Nice icecream. Be advised if you do go to get taxi to wait as it’s a bit isolated

Nice quaint li’l art village filled with interesting crafts and little fringe activities and workshops to get into.

Many little studios to see the crafts, great for souvenirs to buy back.

Food options are small but if you see the Khao Soi Gai, that’s a must-try!! You may have to wait for it but it’s really delicious. The dish itself is a piece of art for its price.

Village is a bit out of the way so do note that it’s a bit hard to get a Grab out of the place.

Baan Kang Wat has a tag line on their website saying great for souvenirs. I think this diminishes what this chilled out space for artisans is all about. This is not the Night Market. Every artisan shop is all about the best in handmade crafts as well as some great food & coffee. It is a craft ‘village’ but with real style. It is a calm space to amble & shop if you are wanting more than mass produced gifts. You won’t be disappointed if this is what you are after.

Fantastic creative space to spend a few hours relaxing. Very nicely done. Not very big but definitely worth taking the team to visit.
