Pretty much all of the shops are scam and they are selling fake products with a big price. In terminal 21 you can refund the items you buy if you have a receipt but there it's impossible, workers don't listen and run away from you if you start saying about a refund.
Also this mall doesnt have a free WiFi, and that's terrible.

Central Festival shopping centre, is literally in the middle of all the action, both beach-side and street-side in downtown, bustling Pattaya, Thailand. Food Park in the basement and cinema with arcade, on the top floor. In between, there is large mixture of; electronics, textiles, banking plus health and beauty retailers offering products and services at various price points. As an added bonus, there is an excellent look-out platform (see my YouTube), on the Beach Road access end of the mall. Well worth checking out for both a bit exercise, as well as some retail therapy.

First we came here to get a push cart car for children. On presentation of my driving license, they told me that they want the original. When we informed them that it was the original one, they said it was company's policy that a passport was required. So after 2 days I came with the original passport of the child they told me that they can only accept an adult passport. They seem to be good in harassing children.

During the COVID period parking at Central Festival Pattaya has become a whole lot easier.
Now that the parking cards have been done away with, it is actually a whole lot easier to exit the car park. What sometimes took up to 15 minutes in a queue of cars exending up to the 5h floor, now only takes a maximum of 5 minutes. Marvellous!
Once life returns to normal lets hope that Central management continues with its 'no parking card' policy. We hope.. We pray!

Nothing like stepping out of the heat and wondering around the dizzy heights of central. I love grabbing a coffee here and sometimes even a movie or two. Also some cheap T-shirt’s and shorts can be had in the right place.

The food court much improved from previous visits. Was like a cattle market before with uncleared tables and difficulty finding a space.
It’s now split into two separated parts and makes for a much more pleasant experience.
A number of units have gone which reflects the difficult trading conditions in Thailand

The biggest and possibly the best Mall in Pattaya.
Everything you need for a good days shopping. Clean bright & modern with many large named stores and plenty of smaller ones to hunt for your bargains.
Every type of eatery for a break, rest and refuel during your shopping.
I never get tired of Central in any major Thailand city they are always a good standard.

It is lot better than Terminal 21. Only one second really. Now if you are American you won’t find many stores that are NOT American. That’s a downer. Why would I buy from a Nike or an H&M or Victoria Secrets if I have access to these stores back home?
On the same token, their food court caught my attention. If you are a foodie and want to try different culturally different foods here is a one stop shop.
The M&Spencer is very limited. Mostly women’s sleep wear and over priced way to high. Be ready to spend $45 on one Jean or bra there ladies.
Be nice if it had some renowned God stores there but didn’t see much.
The movies in Thailand are unknown or dated mostly Jackie Chan style fight fight action packed. Nothing of intellect. So if you want to take a break you may not want to sit in the theatre at the mall either. It maybe a waste of money.

If you go to pattaya this is the place to shop, there are many floors to look around, and its so clean. If you go to the food hall which is located on the lower floor you can do a supermarket shop and you can also eat there as well. You have to get a card and put baht money on it then you go to which vendor that you want to eat from and they serve you and take youre card and take the credit off it. When you have finished you take youre card back to kiosk if you have any baht left on you get it back.would recommend this shopping centre.

Fantastic. 6 floors and a basement stretching from Beach rd to the back rd. Everything from Department Stores (2) to cloths, foot where, sporting where, electronics, Banks, Pharmacys, food chains and eaterys. Does not open till 11:00 AM like most things in Thailand, clean looks newish , their web site says opened 2009 and claims to be the biggest shopping mall in South East Asia

with the designer clothes shops, do they sell Thai/asian sizes or western sizes too? Aus/Uk/USA larger sizes?
Written 11 March 2018
I think that a lot of them do sell the Thai/Asian sizes , however you can in certain shops get the larger sizes depending on the garment/item you need.
