    Nice
The English tour is included in the ticket price, and is interesting. Gets busier after 10 am, like really busy. The museum asks to wear appropriate clothing to respect the Buddha, or you can buy/rent inside. They have boat, cafe, picture, leggs massage, horse and elephant ride inside. Elephants are chained and try to steal bananas, we could not watch as the vibe is a bit sad. Yoy can easilly soemd6from 2-5 hours there. There is no bus, just taxi available our taxi did not have change, so we asked at the ticket office they said they just opened, but found change immediately when we bought ticket (we have paid online, but as we needed cash to pay for taxi, ended up with +1 ticket), so maybe have small change like 200-300bath. Except thid incident and elephants the museum is nice and does have a very nice vibe.

    Beautiful sanctuary
This was an beautiful location. However, please be aware that there was an elephant sanctuary that did not seem to take care of the animals at the location (I truly hope they fix this). Otherwise, the sanctuary of truth was an incredible experience. You must enter with a guide, but after the guided tour you can stay as long as you like. A very special and unique sanctuary. I would say it’s not to be missed if visiting Pattaya.
Hello there! I hope you are well at the moment. Thank you for visiting the Sanctuary of Truth Museum. We appreciate your feedback and this is well noted for the management. Again, thank you very much.

    Attention to detail is amazing
It was absolutely worth the 500 bhat I paid for admittance. A group of us was given a knowledgeable tour leader who gave us a thorough briefing. Everything is handcrafted, the art is beautiful, and the woodwork is flawless.Elephant ride is 400 bhat i definitely recommend everyone in Pattaya to have a visit to this mesmerising The Sanctuary of Truth

    Amazing woodwork of truth
Such amazing human construction of timber structure with ancient skill and no nails. The story and concept behind this place is even more interesting and profound. Externally hot on sunny day but umbrella provided. Safety helmet required as the site considered still in progress as maintenance and upgrading of the old structure continues. Many guided tours in different languages available so check timing of visit. Follow the guided tour first to understand the stories behind every sculpture piece, before going on own to take photos and explore the place. Traditional costume available for rent. They have small cafe outside, boat ride and for Muslim they have halal stall and prayer room.

    Magnificent Temple
Such a beautiful temple! This temple is fully made of wood and without a single nail. Firstly, you need to buy a ticket in order to get in. It comes with a tour guide and there are slots for different languages. Safety helmet is provided. The tour walks through the process of making the temple and maintenance. A lengthy process of making each wood panel and the skillful craftsmanship which spans generations. After the guided tour of the temple, it is free and easy to explore the temple and plenty of time for photos. A magnificent temple and a must visit if you are in Pattaya! 👍👍👍

    Sanctuary of truth
Located in Nakula, just nth of Pattaya. 500b entry. Started in 1981, still an ongoing project. Totally made out of timber ,no nails. Has guided tours if u want. U can see the workers carving the timber. I took a retired 80yr carpenter , who was just in awe of the timber work. Been 3 times now over past 10 yrs.

Wonderful consideration for those with a disability
Had a fabulous visit here today. I have some mobility issues, but don’t use a walking stick. However, the extremely observant lady at the ticket office noticed and from that moment on we were treated like honoured guests. We were driven the short distance to the museum entrance and then invited to use the lift. The museum is stunning. The carving is remarkable and the messages enlightening if you choose to take notice (it is not in any forced upon you). The setting is spectacular and a cooling breeze pervaded the space making it a very pleasant place to spend time even in the middle of the day in fierce heat. There were many benches for taking a seat throughout. We had lovely refreshments from the coffee stand and then a speed boat ride with further assistance for me to climb aboard. Finally, we were driven back to the entrance. Highly recommended and especially for those who are a little infirm.

Great couple of hours out, should stop the the elephant rides!!
Interesting place to visit for a couple of hours. The entrance fee of THB 500 includes a compulsory guided tour. The tour takes about 45 mins and once it is finished you are free to wander around at your own free will. For me, the only negative was the elephant rides. the elephants look so sad, i find it hard to believe that people still pay to do these type of activities.

Whilst there is some amazing skills on display in the build and carpentry skills, if I had known about the elephant rides, horses standing in heat and expected to give rides I wouldn't have touched this place with a barge pole. Basically they are turning it into a very unpleasant theme park!

What an amazing place to visit. A truly stunning piece of architecture and art. They charge very little to get in here, the tour is very good although it does last quite a while, after getting the basics from our tour guide I preferred to walk around on my own, take in the beauty of it and take some pictures. How they build this place is simply amazing.

This was so much more impressive than we expected. A massive temple like wooden building. Temple like, because it's not officially a temple, but a museum. However it resembles a temple. With such a level of detail. Even though it was still under construction and we all had to use hard hats it was by far the best tourist attraction we visited in Pattaya.

Oh, this museums has really great carvings that promote good values. They have a cafe near the lake where local musician play instrumental music and that is really relaxing. I would go back here again probably for a while day to check the museum and next time I'll bring my journal and sketchbook to paint near the lake.

Beautifully carved all wood temple that is serene and peaceful to visit. Taking over forty years to create it will take your breath away with the intricacy, skill and devotion required to do build it. Sat on an outcrop of land there's a gentle breeze to keep you cool which helps enormously. We visited as part of an excursion whilst in Thailand on a cruise and we loved it. Visits are well managed and need to be as it's very busy with tourists. It's a must-see if you're in the area.

An absolute gem of a place. Such extraordinary workmanship! The tour was well organised, and done in several languages, so there may be a bit of a wait for the tour with the language of your choice. There were areas of tranquility and peace. Highly recommended!!
