We at least had a honest taxi driver who said they would give us 100 baht discount on our ride if we would stop there. The drivers get gas coupons if they have you visit this place and more coupons if you buy. When we...More

This was one of the stops as part of our tour. You go through a few passages that look similar to that of a museum or gallery that provides a nice overview of the mining history of Thailand, along with some exquisite gemstone pieces on...More

This was a stop on our tour which no one on the bus really wanted there was a jewellery exhibition (not bad) followed by a huge store with expensive quite ugly jewellery I wouldn't recommend this other than it may be part of your tour.

Terrible, really terrible. Nice for tasteless Chinese and Russians... The shop itself targets those two nationalities, that's why they ask your nationality when you arrive. Refuse to give it! Better still, don't go. It's a terrible place

Give this a miss. Overpriced and high pressure sales tactics. Was once a tourist attraction- now a place you just easily drive past.

I visited here a few years back and it was great with a tour and everything. Now we were scolded for stoping to look at the nice cultural pieces on display. Also, as someone in the trade I can tell you the prices are out...More

Our Tuk Tuk driver suggested this stop to gain a fee & the railroading & pressure to buy started at the outset. We found ourselves swamped between hundreds of Chinese tourists that were herded like prodded cattle amongst jewellery cases in an exhibition sized hall....More
