In its heyday, Dalat Station boasted three arrivals and departures daily. The French built the railway station itself, while the zigzagging tracks were planned and implemented by the Swedish, experts in tricky terrain.

You are not going to have chance to take the 20s classy train everyday! So be sure to catch a train ride out to another small town! Fantastic view, fun train ride, charming little town 20 min outside of dalat ( stop for 45 min at the small town). In fact, I jumped on train without knowing this is active.... More

I visited this place as part of a tour. I didn't really learn much about the history behind the train station while I was there. They only have 2 old-fashioned trains to take pictures on. Not that exciting in my opinion, kind of a tourist trap because there are some locals trying to sell stuff. Not a "must-see" if you're... More

The Dalat Railway Station is quite a significant building as it is one of the few buildings standing proudly alone and representing a past era. The bright colour and commanding position (even though it is in the valley surrounded by hills) make it a stand-out feature. The wood-carvings and other artifacts for sale are well worth a look. The odd... More

This lovely colonial relic has been restored and now boasts a 7km stretch of restored track to a nearby village. well worth it because you can take in the Linh Phouc pagoda on your trip. The station has an old steam train, old rolling stock and is free to enter. There is a café on the platform. Great for train... More

The ancient train station, could be a interesting spot for those who want to take some photos on the old railways and trains (you will see a lot of local, young Vietnamese there taking photos), after we walked to the lake , took 15 minutes walking. They seem have local routes by train but requires a group of minimum 20... More

Be watchful of the schedule of the trains... 5000 VND shall you wanted to park your motobike... Few types of seats to select from; but if can, please stand outside the carriage to see the highland scenery while enjoying the breeze. Another must do activities apart from Crazy House and Dalat Market/Dalat Night Market.
