Great lake for a run with a path that runs alongside the road. It would be a decent 30 to 40 minutes around the lake. Alternatively you can opt for horse and cart, open taxi, paddle boats in the lake or grab a coffee and food at many of the lakeside cafes and restaurants. It is well maintained but I wouldn't swim in it, we saw about 10 dead fish floating on top of the water, not a great sign

I think this is a symbol of Da Lat that everyone who comes here will come here. Surrounding Xuan Huong Lake are famous historical and cultural sites, beautiful and good hotels.
I think that for sports lovers, jogging around the lake every morning is an interesting experience, but you need to pay attention to the road because there is animal ….

We did the circular walk, round the lake. Some parts were better than others. Street vendors had taken over large parts of the pavement to sell plants/flowers for New Year. Increasing the danger for pedestrians. Some parts were ok. Good views, nice gardens.

A beautiful lake in the center of town; great to just walk by. Enjoyed seeing the Swan Boats, but they are not at all like the original Swan Boats in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. They look like a lot of fun.

I went to Dalat in October. I visited, watching the whole city of Dalat. Dalat is also known as Da Lat dream.

Good for a walk around or to do the tour with the motorbike. Nature around and lake decently clean. Good to have a chat and chill with family and friends, also a good way to see the town from a different prospective.

If you're a runner, you'll be hard pressed to find a better path in Vietnam. Beautiful. 5 km per lap. Sealed and 90% traffic-free. Plus the cool Dalat weather is great for exercise.

I love to walk around this lake in the early morning and sunset time too.

If you are a person who likes cold weather and the romantic stories. Da Lat will be the best choice. This place show cutural diverisity with the lovely human lived with nature. You can joined their festivals or take some photos with the beautiful ethnic girl. When you come there, you can experience the rule 3-0 : No traffic light, no police officer and no air-conditional. But on the top of that, you can join the night market, drink some soy milk, eat a hot corn. Or maybe you are a person, who liked horrible story ( ghost story). You can try to visit the ghost house, which is thrilling and intriguing. What’s more, you can stay in a clean and luxury hotel with not too much expensive cost. And I hope you will have the best experience after my review.

I was in Dalat in 2010 and to our disappointment, the lake was dry or under some construction. Was that the Xuan Huong Lake or Paradise Lake?
