Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A good escape from hussel and buzzel of Hanoi for a day. It was really enjoyable. Cooking class is fun and lunch meals was better than most restaurants.

This was the most memorable day of our trip so far. From seeing someone walk their water bufallo (something which I ever imagined I would say!), to having tea at a Viet Cong veterans house, to picking tea on his tea plantation, to a cookery lesson at someone's home and eating lunch in their garden, seeing a villagers wild bores and cycling through the paddy fields before a traditional herbal foot soak from the Muong tribe tradition (my feet are so soft now). A day of lots of unexpected events but an amazing experience if you only do one trip do this one.

I went to one of the village in Hanoi. It was a really great experience cycling thru the village and seeing their daily lives. I had an amazing tour guide that was very informative and helpful. The cooking classes and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to book this tour.

This was an incredible tour. Trung, our guide, was personable, knowledgeable and shared information about his country and it's history. The various stops on the tour (Tea Farm, cooking lesson with amazing food, bike ride, and tofu making demonstration) were all exceptional. I would highly recommend this tour to gain a deeper insight into the Vietnamese culture.

Such a wonderful guide, Trung. He was very knowledgeable and great communication.

Our first stop, harvesting tea leaves was so special. Vietnam vet Duoc told us of his incredible story in the Vietnam War while sipping the different teas the family has produced for decades and we were taken by his wife Mai harvesting tea leaves on their stunning farm. We were taught the whole process of how to dry and bag the tea leaves.

Our next stop, Miss Chin was just so delightful and graceful. The best spring rolls we have ever had and so much food for lunch we couldn't finish it all! Make sure you go with an empty stomach! My 8yo played with the neighbor as we went for a bike ride through the rice paddies and scanned the beautiful mountains - even able to see the Buddah statue!

After returning, our traditional footbath was so lovely. A long drive home, most of us took a nap so that on our arrival back to Hanoi city we could do the last bit of shopping before heading to Hà Long Bay.
