Had a wonderful experience. Pick up on time, comfortable car, visited a local market, cooking experience was so enjoyable and then had the best food ever.People very welcoming and drank so much tea. Trung is an excellent knowledgeable guide and so attentive Driver also excellent. Brought to tea farming and followed the process of picking and making tea. Had a lovely cycle through the Paddy fields and finished with a warm herbal foot bath. Would highly recommend.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Hanoi and was very patient in answering all our questions and ensuring our comfort throughout the trip. All of our village hosts were very welcoming and the pace of the tour was perfect to take it all in. If you are not comfortable entering private homes and having a lot of conversation I would not advise to do this tour, but if you have a sense of adventure and desire to learn about how people live, this is a very enriching and enjoyable experience. Our guide was even so kind as to arrange for our driver to drop us at a recommended cafe near our hotel upon our return to the city to try famous egg coffee. A great way to start off the trip.

One of the best tours I had in Vietnam. Our tour guide, Trung, took us to experience the country side to learn about the unique people in Vietnam. His English is exceptional enough to have conversations and answer any questions throughout the tour. I highly recommend anyone visiting Vietnam to go on this tour.

Trung Đinh was a fantastic guide, really passionate about your experience in Vietnam and willing to go the extra mile to help you better understand the rich Vietnamese history, culture and make you feel welcome. Trung's English was excellent and he could fluently translate between Vietnamese and English so we really made the most of the experience. The tour started in a tea farm where we got to speak to a Vietnamese War Veteran and his wife who welcomed us with some delicious tea and shared their life experiences, later described the process of making tea and even took us to the tea farm to collect some tea ourselves – it was brilliant. Next, we visited a really nice Vietnamese family who taught us how to make spring rolls which we then enjoyed in addition to a full Vietnamese cuisine lunch which was delicious and with generous portions. After lunch we got to see a beautiful garden with many tasty and surprising fruits / herbs such as chillies and edible lemongrass. Trung then took us on a very scenic bike ride during which we took some amazing photos and visited local Rice Wine & Tofu manufacturers who demonstrated the process of making them as well as spoke to local farmers and people who talked about their work and life in Vietnam. Finally we were treated to a special foot-bath with flowers & herbs and told about the rich field of natural medicine in Vietnam. At the end of the tour Trung took us back to the Hotel safely and we are really happy with our experience. Many thanks again.

Trung Đinh was the tour guide for Wendy and me and he brought us straight into the lives of North Vietnamese families by speaking with them, cooking with them, biking, and farming. His knowledge of English, history and culture combined with humor allowed for an interactive and completely enjoyable introduction to Vietnam. We highly recommend this tour with Trung. We became family members a day in Hanoi.

Spent a fantastic day in the Hanoi countryside with our guide Trung. Trung was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to spend a day with him getting insite into the rural way of life. Thoroughly enjoyed the bike ride with amazing vistas along the way, particularly enjoyed the rice wine tasting and the distilling process.

I loved everything about this tour. It is the real, rural Vietnam. Read all the other reviews and view the photos — then book a tour you will not regret. Guide Trang knows EVERYTHING you want to know about every facet of Vietnam. My travel mates and I could not stump him. Trang will introduce you to the friendly, humble, hardworking people of the farming community. The pace is easy and relaxing — a most welcome break from noisy, crowded Hanoi. This is as genuine as it gets!!

Had a fantastic time visting 3 local families in their homes. The staff and families were very friendly and informative. We had excellent food with a cooking class, cycled around the village, visited tea plantation and tofo farm and finished of with a foot spa and a boat trip. We would highly reccomend this trip to all ages. Thanks for a great day Tracy and Neil.

I enjoys the tours with my friends a lot..learning a new things.. culture,food,different lifestyle,a good surrounding & environment in village..for me you should try this package..Friendly tour leader Mr Trung and the host of villager..make your comfort and easy to deal with them without a barrier only a langguage..very recommended

My 17 year old daughter and I did this day trip and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was our second day in Hanoi and it was good to see some of the more rural areas outside of the city. We started the day with visiting an elderly couple who ran a Green Tea Farm, then went to a house in Bavi for a cooking class and lunch - which was absolutely delicious! Took a bike ride around the village and stopped off at two houses to see how tofu and rice wine was made. Then we went and enjoyed a herbal foot bath, while sipping herbal cold tea and finished the day off with a boat trip. Tony our tour guide was fantastic. We loved Tony. Spoke very good English, knew a lot about the area and was very funny! Highly recommend this day tour.
