We had a great time. The management and staff did everything they could to make us and other cruisers happy. There was enormous staff energy and smiles. The food was terrific, and the proper amount of alcohol in the mixed drinks. There were a few activities and we climbed a (small) mountain, swam in the bay, toured a floating fishing... More

We did the two night three day experience. You can opt for the one night two day experience but the extras that you see in the extra time are invaluable. The boat is comfortable and scrupulously clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and rival many hotel bedrooms . The food is delicious and the staff are extremely friendly and... More

we travelled along the Halong Bay on a one night 2 day cruise and wish we could of stayed for longer! The boat was beautiful - the rooms were very tastefully done with incredible bathrooms. The food was delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for you to make your trip enjoyable. We sat on top deck at night while... More

We read/heard lot of bad reviews about halong bay trip and were scared but it turned out we had a wonderful time and we will remember it for a long time ! Obviously the landscape and sceneries were beautiful during 24h. The boat itself is splendid, the room are worth a luxuary hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful.... More

I really enjoyed this cruise although we only had the one night and it was a bit rushed. The gourmet meals were a very high standard although I would have preferred local cuisine. The staff were very helpful and our room with ensuite bathroom and jacuzzi was amazing. The fishing village we visited was something else and the islands in... More

Last month, on January 15/16, 2017, we spent a fantastic 24 hours on the Indochina Sails junk, Valentine, cruising Halong Bay. Lucky for the three of us, we were the only passengers on board so, essentially, we enjoyed a private cruise. The Valentine was outfitted very comfortably and our guide, Dinh Van Hieu, known as Hieu, was absolutely terrific. Hieu... More

When I heard my hubby had booked without a balcony, I asked to be upgraded and had to change boats to do this. Best decision ever! even it if cost an extra $100 each. The bathrooms almost outshone the bedroom with the spectacular full window view. The food almost outshone the incredible service and kindness of the staff. The overall... More

24 hour cruise on Indochina Sails Premium in cabin 104. Cabins quite spacious, aircon, completely OTT marble bathroom (on a junk???!). Beds OK but the deck slopes quite steeply so you slide to the bottom overnight. Water hot, WCs good, all smellies and towels provided. Viewing areas good with large windows everywhere and a great top deck with sun loungers... More

Our tour ended with one night on an Indochina Sails boat. I confess we were not expecting much (having experienced boats in Kerala and other small "cruises") but were amazed at the size and comfort of the cabin and the quality of the bathroom. Many hotels would be proud. Funnily enough we both had the best nights sleep of the... More

We have just returned from THE most fantastic 2 nights/ 3 days on Indochina Sails in Ha Long Bay! The rooms are as exquisite as the views and the food is fantastic! We had such a special holiday and my husband and I would like to thanks David Chen, the GM, and his staff for a fabulous trip! You really... More
