My friends who live in Hanoi took me here yesterday. I didn't know what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. It is an artists private collection but set into the landscape trying to preserve viet heritage and history. The place is just beautiful and so serene. There is a tribute room to the artists father who was a famous... More

It took my friend and I an 1 1/2hr journey by bus to see Thanh Chuong's Viet Palace - and it was worth it. I came across many locals when I returned to the city and they hadn't heard about Viet Palace. With that being said, it made sense why there weren't many tourists when I visited. It made it... More

A tasteful wonderland of Vietnamese culture, including the art of Thanh Chuong, whose idea it was to create the sprawling compound. Mostly outdoors, some angled walkways, lots of steps, but also there are areas to explore on one level. There's a restaurant/cafe for refreshment. You could spend a couple of hours here, easy, walking around, taking it all in. The... More

Thousands of artifact to be arranged in the cultural layout. The ticket is not very cheap (VND 200,000/pax).

Not too far from Hanoi, just less than 45 minutes driving. Really impressive with all buildings here. Very quiet, fresh and truly reflect Viet's culture, especially North Vietnam. Only one thing to complain: mosquitos.

This place definitely worth your trip if you like culture, and want to learn Vietnamese art and heritage. It is the number one private art collection (of a well-known painter, Thanh Chuong) in Hanoi; displayed artistically in many traditional architecture houses and gardens.
