Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The temple is so beautiful inside it should be a 5 for excellent...however....the grass is uncleared around the small grounds...nobody looks after the small shop...and nobody generally seems to care ( including the money collector)
A lot of locals gather here...a genuine working temple...Must See!

This is a beautiful little temple near Westlake.
While it is located on a very busy and noisy road, once you get inside (for 10000 VND ~ 50 cents), the tranquility of the place overpowers the outside noise.
There's an impressive statue inside the temple and many locals spend a long time petting its foot.

A very old Tao Temple in the middle of town. Once inside it is very tranquil with beautiful interior and architecture. I enjoyed the tranquil feeling and always love the smell of Temple incense. Great for the whole family.

Strolling along the West Lake. I came across a very attractive place just by the side of the bustling street of Hanoi. The 11th century Quan Thanh Temple ( Tran Vu Temple), a Taoist temple in Hanoi, was dedicated to Xuan Wu, one of the well-respected deities in Taoism. It is served as one of four sacred temples in the capital...Still don't know much about this place as I have no guide and zero skill in Vietnamese, I have been very fond of the place. The ancient looking but well-preserved temple sits peacefully and gracefully on the busy Hanoi intersection with so many things going on outside. Once I step into the temple, I was brought into the past and I felt the calmness and serenity within the temple. I hardly hear the honking and the roaring engines from the outside. Experience it yourself!

Very picturesque old style Viet gate and temple with Buddha statues galore. Check with hotel for location as not easy to find, but worth seeking out.
