Getting here is very easy with Uber or Grab. Just key in the destination and let the app do the work. Entrance fee is cheap for the amount of hands-on experience they provide. The main attraction for my kids were the opportunity to climb (literally) into the long houses, which were located on the museum grounds. Full sized, and made... More

I really enjoyed the visit to the museum as I could understand much more about the different people of Vietnam, their history and customs! Worth the visit for sure!!

We are (19 persons in a group) felt satisfied and no regret visit this place. We can see all about ethnology of Vietnam, and the most important is, the souvenir shop, Craft Link...is worth to come. All the handicrafts are very beautiful and reasonable price... I think, cheapest price compared to the shops on silk street.. we came to that... More

This museum provides a look at the various ethnic groups that have formed Vietnam. Inside there are 2 levels of displays showing ancient and modern cultural items. i.e.. pottery, crossbows, weavings. The best treat is outside, several traditional village houses, gardens and burial buildings.

I feel guilty, but I just found it boring, it's a lovely building but I just expected it to be a bit more interesting, it reminded me of a charity shop with old clothes on mannequins. I'm usually interested in the history of local people but just could not get into it. It did improve outside with some quite interesting... More

We have visited this museum several times. We like especially the outdoor part with the different types of houses and the interesting sculptures. At the end of our visit we usually relax at the small restaurant at the entrance.

I have visited a lot of museums during my vacation in Vietnam but this is really exceptional. Being attracted by the design as well as its layout and all the information and objects I found in side is really useful and interesting. You will have an overview of this little country. It is more lively with the water puppet performance... More
