Incredibly large lake just a short walk north of the Old Quarter. Seems to be less busy than the smaller but more popular Ho Kiem Lake. Weather was incredibly overcast when I visited but the walkways were clean and well keep. Even if you do...More

I loved this lake. Going in the morning and night are very different. Both give you a different perspective of the lake and what's open

The streets around West Lake abound with all kinds of interesting stores, street vendors, restaurants and bars. It will give you a good idea of how the people of Hanoi live and work, all with a beautiful lake in the background.
