Greatly enjoyed the show and its color and ingenuity. The live performance with music and singing was top-notch, though being entirely in Vietnamese meant that the nuances were missing for us. One grandson really enjoyed it (7), the other (3) found it too much and...More

Didn't expect too much from this AUD $5 show (tickets at the door) but was really pleased I went. My partner has lived in Vietnam for a couple of years and even he said he was glad we went. It's a skilful performance of an...More

Nothing spectacular. Yet, interesting. The show itself is for an hour. Music is Vietnamese. The show covers the history of ancient Vietnam. We found that the theater gets busy on weekends. Try to book a day ahead. Oh, and the credit card machine was out...More

This show is good for all ages. You must walk a flight of stairs to enter the theatre. Music and singers were very traditional. Puppets show was very nice. This is a very good way to see a cultural show in true Vietnamese tradition.

Really cool, cute show. We walked in at 6:28pm and impulsely saw the show that started at 6:30pm. Was a great decision, good insight into culture and at a cheap price!

Nothing will prepare you for this. It is completely in vietnamese (and that’s a plus). Awesome live music, interesting and partialy funny story. A must see in Hanoi in my opinion.

This is one of those things that, as a tourist, you feel you ought to do. It doesn't last too long and is not too expensive. It is, as you would expect, a puppet show on the water - really quite skilful and fun. It...More

Interesting, yes it's in Vietnam but you can get the general Idea. Not everyone cup of tea but I enjoyed the show. Our hotel went to get the tickets for us while we were doing the tour.

Being an Indian, we see a lot of puppet shows. Of course, this one was different, as it was in water, but could not enjoy much. Feel if it is to promote the art, tickets should be reasonlbale. It is a 45 minutes show. Enjoyed...More

No idea. But you can ask. Tickets were 100, 150 or 200k dong...the closer to the stage the more expensive . 200k is£7 so knock yourself out for the best seats in the house.
