I shared a four sleeper cabin with one person. It was a bit too small for 4 of us. The trip and walking to the train was in itself interesting. No big fences no special paths you just headed out across the tracks watching for...More

There are 3 different overnight trains between Hanoi and Sapa. I booked our train through Train to Sapa and received incredible service. Ms Ngoc Ha gave me good advice, helped me change tickets when I messed up the booking and did my 2nd booking on...More

Recommended. Bumpy but comfy. Staff are nice. Coffee is cheap and not bad. The beds are clean and cute. Just one comment, the bathroom could be cleaner.

We took the overnight train from Hanoi to Sapa, rode motorcycles all around the mountains, visited local tribal homes, did a little shopping and got foot massages all before taking the night train back that night. We got a sleeping birth all to ourselves and...More

These trains have narrow gauge, which means that the width of the carriage is not the one we are used to on Western trains. So the length of the beds is just enough if you are not taller than 1.70m! The train is very noisy...More

I tried to give some good details with videos I made on YouTube (literally just to help as I have like 2 followers I think) but TripAdvisor got jealous and told me I couldn't "promote" myself lol Do not buy the tickets online as all...More

Probably the best and most comfortable way to commute from Hanoi to Sapa overnight, provided the neighboring cabins' inhabitants are not party birds and the staff members don't have heated conversations over the phone. Once we got this sorted, we could sleep most of the...More

There was a cell service and internet service, but sometimes it was breaking down. For the job interview you probably need to have a better connection.
