Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I come here everyday for a run in the morning. It’s autumn time in Hanoi now so the weather is very pleasant. It can be noisy at some coffee shops but you can find some quite around areas around.

Came here on a sunny weekend for an escape from the city, we drove and parked and only paid 5k entry. We brought a picnic lunch with us and enjoyed eating it on a bench surrounded by flowers and butterflies which was lovely.
Steer clear of the end of the park with the market and dreadful loud music blaring and its fine. The lake took about 30mins to leisurely walk around and it was nice and peaceful with a much welcome breeze.
Lastly the park seemed very clean, lots of bins dotted around for rubbish and barely any seen discarded which was a big plus for Hanoi

This park is near to the Citadel as we saw it on our way to the Citadel. It is a rather simple and plain park. A lot of greenery and a relaxing walk.

If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi, Thong Nhat Park is the perfect spot! This serene park is filled with lush greenery, beautiful lakes, and a jogging trail. You can even rent bikes and explore the park’s hidden corners. You can park your bike or scooter at the gate. It is free to visit the park.

Be aware, although this known as Lenin Park, the statue of Lenin is no longer here. He started here in 1980 but was moved to his own smaller park near the military history museum in 1982. So some of the reviews are wrong below!

But this is a lovely park and we enjoyed a walk on our last day in Hà nôi. There was a sign that seemed to indicate a small entry fee but there was no one to collect it so we walked in.

This is a well-kept green space in Hanoi with a statue of Vladimir Lenin.

Locals hang out here playing card games and sports. Tourists stroll through the park with their children in pushchairs and enjoying the shade of the trees.

Worth a visit if you’re passing by or in the area.

Walking along the busy multi-lane road towards Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum we saw across the road Lenin Park, due to the vehicle traffic we did not venture to cross. At the front of the park was a statue of the Russian Vladimir Lenin representing the Vietnamese allegiance to Leninism . Where the park stands today once was a dumping ground but in the late 1950s it was reclaimed and regenerated in a large public park also known as the green lungs of the city.

Thong Nhat /Lenin park is one of the very rare place to escape the hustling of Hanoi, and it's located right in the centre. Walk through the door, with the ticket couldn't be cheaper, you will leave behind all the noise and polution.
We often walk our dog here , there are people doing exercise, running, aerobic, yoga, and many other type of sports that you could inmagine .
Drinks and snack are sold everywhere.
Public toilets are filthy, but they are existed.
