This is the location of the local wet market and is worth seeing but probably not so much for tourists as it is for locals. It is pretty busy and there isn’t much space to move around. We didn’t spend too long here but it...More

This market is crazy, fabric everywhere. There's not a lot of patchwork cottons or non stretch fabrics, but there's some fantastic jerseys, stretch wools, chiffons, satins, embroidered and sequined material, tulle, fleece - endless! You will get a lot of weird looks depending on how...More

Some people may find this place a bit daunting as it is "very local," and there is very little English spoken. However, I was able to make myself understood and even have a bit of a laugh with the ladies. I went back twice as...More

If you are looking for a ridiculous amount of fabric this is the place to go! I knew there was going to be a lot, but the sheer quantity blew me away! Bring a calculator to help you communicate.

I would say some begin shutting by 5:45 and certainly by 6 the fabric stalls start closing down. The main level fruits, and vegetables might stay open a little longer.
