We were picked in in Hanoi and joined a minibus and our guide Minh for the cruise. Minh was a brilliant, charming and entertaining guide who gave us lots of information and laughs. The 16 cabin boat was cosy and had everything you need ( do n’t expect a luxury liner for the price, if that’s what you require, go elsewhere). Boat crew all great and amazing food in a constant supply. We kayaked to a beach, swam and visited a cave whilst on the cruise plus a cooking lesson from Minh where we all were able to have a go ourselves. There was also Tai Chi on deck at 0630 the next morning for sunrise! Give it all a go, you won’t regret it.

We booked onto this trip through our hotel in Hanoi and were really impressed. From collection our guide David (BK Junior) was amazing. He was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic and made the experience really enjoyable with his great humour! The crew were all great and very friendly. When on board the bar is run by a third party company so some drinks are not included in the overall price but you can pay by card at the end if you want to make use of the happy hour before dinner. All included activities are completely optional and were really well run by David. A highlight was kayaking around Bai Tu Long Bay. It was so quiet and a great chance to take in the beautiful sights around you. The tour was mainly around Bai Tu Long Bay which is beautiful and much quieter than Ha Long Bay.

We were lucky to have Cong as our tour guide who was excellent. He looked after the entire group really well, triple checking ingredients where people had food allergies and was a great communicator.
The weather was clear on our 2 days trip so we had a great view of the cliffs.
The crew on board were all very good and food was always beautifully presented and delicious.

Everything about the trip was amazing from the pick up from my hotel to the drop off. The boat was charming in every way and the stateroom so quaint, offering the most comfortable night's sleep I've had in a long time! The activities offered were challenging and fun and the food and entertaining on the boat were both of very pleasing standard indeed. One of the most amazing aspects however was our guide, Minh who is the perfect guide - charming, well informed and offering amazing, personable customer service. He is what made the trip a wonderful success with his precise and informative planning and even offer early morning Tai Chi on the boat! He went above and beyond to provide the best care possible for his customers.

Kien was our guide for the whole of 2 days. He was really friendly and informative and has a good sense of humour. Overall, the quality of the trip (activities, bus, inter-activity boats, bedrooms) were much better than the lower star tours. I'm able to compare as I've used a 2* your prior to this and Swan Cruises is definitely a better choice.

We loved our experience with Swan Cruises, and if you have the time, we highly recommend the longer cruise option. We were able to get out past the tourist hordes to enjoy the picturesque Bai Tu Long Bay, which is further from the coast than the more well-known Ha Long Bay. Our boat was very comfortable, with clean, sizable rooms and unexpectedly good bathrooms. The food was solid if not spectacular, but the activities were excellent.

We had booked an overnight tour with Swan which we had really looked forward to! The collection was prompt from our hotel in Hanoi and the transfer although about 4 hrs was comfortable.
Our guide was excellent and the activities organised were good! However the food was mediocre and of course you had to buy your own drinks which could have been better especially the choice of beer which was rubbish. The cabin was also shown to be a lot larger in the advertising photos. Still we had a good time.

1st and foremost, whatever happens, at the end they will make things right for you. There were couple of issues with my trip, but I don’t want to mention about that rather, the attitude of the cruise people towards their customers. They surely keep the customers at the top. They value your feedback and make sure you are happy at the end, which is the most important part of the trip.
Taking about the cruise and experience, it is just mind blowing. Swan Cruise takes an unique itinerary, which takes you to Bai Tu Long bay instead of Halong Bay. This itinerary makes you skip the crowd and the see the beauty of the bay completely. You feel that the whole bay is to yourself and that feeling is just amazing. The beauty of bay is unmatched. Its one the most beautiful destinations in the world. The cruise bookings includes all activites (kayaking, diving, squid fishing, tai chi classes, cooking class, excursion to a cave) and meals were included. It was 1N2D itinerary. Book the suite with Balcony. Its totally worth the price. Our guide Mr Cong was amazing. Always on time and kept us informed about everything. He has great knowledge about the bay and Vietnam as whole. Super happy to choose this cruise and lucky to have Mr Cong as our tour guide.

The one day one night cruise we took was magnificent! Team Sunday was the best! Sunday really went over the top to make us feel spoiled, he really made sure we felt welcome and kept us busy the whole cruise! Kayaking, swimming, visiting the cave, squid fishing, karaoke and even magic tricks :) Would highly recommend this cruise, they also go to the areas where not so many boats go so it is very peaceful. Go team Sunday! We wish you all the best in life Sunday! <3

We have just returned from a fab overnight stay to Halong Bay/ Bai Tu Long Bay.
Our guide Daisy was exceptional from start to finish. The four hour bus journey from Hanoi to Halong Bay flew by thanks to Daisy fun and informative stories of Vietnam.
Daisy’s enthusiasm was infectious even for a stoic couple from England who don’t like group things , we were quickly enjoying all the tour had to offer !
The staff on the boat were courteous and professional and were amazing with the two young children who were travelling on the tour.
Daisy took us kayaking to a local bay which was breathtaking.
The food and drink was fab throughout.
We enjoyed the Tai Chi class led by Daisy at 0630 on the top deck !
All in all a fab 2 days spent in an amazing location and Daisy is a credit to Swan Cruises !!

Hi! I booked this cruise through my accommodation. I read their reviews before bookings and found it to be good and so went ahead with them. Booking through your hotel may get you better price i feel.

There is a WiFi but a faint one. Not stable. You should get closer to the modem for a better signal. It's natural as the ship cruises through Faraway landscape. Hope this helps..

2019.1.25일 1박 2일 스완크루즈 마치고 지금 하노이로 귀환 중입니다. Kien guide 덕분에 알찬 여행이었습니다. 특히 카약, 동굴, 그리고 고요한 해변이 좋았습니다. 날씨로 일몰과 일출은 못봤지만 나름대로 신비해서 괜찮았습니다. 크루즈 여행이 편안하도록 도움을 주신 배에 탄 직원 분들에게도 감사의 말씀을 전합니다. 궁금한 점은 베트남 현지에 와서 현지 여행사, 스완크루즈 사이트에서 예약할때 경비차이는 나나요 아니면 동일하나요?
