It costs just 50,000 dong to enter and there are lots of interesting animals to view. We had gone to look at the Komodo dragons - but there were none. Alas, I am not convinced that the zoo us up to standard as far as animal welfare is concerned. And visitors have a bad habit of throwing rubbish at the... More

This Zoo wonderful. Many animas to see. Some creatures are very rare. I was skeptical, but the zoo is really nice. Highly recommended to visit if you decide to go Dai Nam.

We went there in summer time. It was hot and sunny. Walking in the park was quiet for us, however, there were many rare animals, fishes to attract us. There were a lot of beautiful pet fishes. We played a lot of games. It was really fun.

Compliments to the owners for attempting to create an attraction that would seem attractive to locals visiting Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding provinces. The attraction is huge! With a some unusual talking pieces that are so unusual that they are worth talking about. An international tourist would not find this attraction worthy of their precious time to visit,... More

Dai Nam Zoo is better recommended to the natives. As you a foreign tourist, Dai Nam Zoo should not be listed on your scheudle coz it's too small & too common to deserve a special visit. 大南動物園適合推薦給本國遊客,外國遊客就不推了 - 動該物園實在太小太普通,不值得外國遊客在有限的旅期中,專程造訪。

1st of all, we had to travel by car 1.5hrs starting from the HCMC district 1. It took us 1.5 minute (abt 30km/hr) just driving around the outside of the amusement theme park, starting to count right from the turn in from the main road until the drop off point for ticketing. The amusement theme park were spectacular. There are... More

I have been to the Saigon Zoo several times and this was my first visit to Dai Nam Zoo. This place was on the verge of closing last year, but new finances flowed in and now the place is thriving! Comparing zoos in Asia to those found in western countries is like comparing apples to turnips. Having said that...this zoo... More

Stated as the best of the Saigon zoos, Dai Nam was a bewildering experience. We shared the whole park including a huge amusement park, zoo, beach and water park plus an amazing temple with about 50 other persons. The amusement rides were so deserted we thought it to be closed. The zoo itself was entertaining with hand feeding of giraffes,... More
