Fascinating trip to learn about the reality of the war and how the Vietnamese, in particular, lived during that time.

It's good to experience first hand apart from just learning about it from the guide and the informative boards. It was tiring but well worth it!

These tunnels were used to hide the local soldiers and peasants as they fought the Americans & other invaders. The tunnels were in the jungle and very well disguised. There were many booby traps also where soldiers fell onto spikes.

Definitely would recommend going here for the history and experience. It was very interesting and would highly suggest walking (crouching through the tunnels) to get the full experience of just how tight they were!
