This is only a half day excursion but is worth the traffic jams in and out of Ho Chi Minh City. Make sure you get a good guide and preferably be in a small group. It certainly puts many things in perspective when you look at the tunnels and all the accompanying exhibits such as the man traps.

We went to the Tunnels on Sunday 23rd April 2017. We went via coach with our rep. It was very busy here but so interesting. Hearing about the War was sad but to see how they used the tunnels & what they did in them was fascinating. You can also pay to shoot the different types of guns at the... More

Had a good time at the tunnels. A must see if you are visiting Ho Chi Minh. Worth trying the rifle shooting and for the rest, just follow the tour guide.

We visited the tunnels in April with a few friend. What a day. It was extremely hot and humid inside the tunnels. We enjoyed every bit of it. Was great to kind of see and feel what the soldiers felt while inside the tunnels in the 60s. There were more than enough refreshments and food to buy at the shop... More

We went on a tour by minibus with an excellent guide. The museum itself seems set up to deal with guided tours. There isn't terribly much here so the whole thing doesn't take that long but 20m of tunnel was more than enough for us.

Give me insight into how the war had its effects on the people of the country. A good place to see what went on during the war and how the Vietnamese fought from underground. Lots of walking. Will be invited to go into the actual tunnel and crawl through like they did during war times. If you are claustrophobic, do... More

Really interesting trip but if you are claustrophobic or very large you won't want to do the tunnels.

A bit of a drive to get there but worth it. Would use the return to Ho Chi Min by Speed boat option next time. Well worth the visit and very interesting.

I definitely recommend a visit at War Remnants Museum from HCMC after seeing the Cu Chi Tunnels, as they are both tourist attractions connected to Vietnam's dark history. Beware not to loose of your group, as the place is very crouded. Do not climb the tanks and don't act offensively (or with fun) related to the place, as they have... More

We arranged a half day tour from our hotel. Took 1 1/2 hours to get there, mainly driving through the Vietnamese countryside. It was an amazing and educational experience! The museum is outdoors and in the trees with all sorts of visual aids and reconstructed traps. It was very moving and powerful to see the different types of traps used... More
