This is one of those must-see places on a long walk around Saigon, and is situated right across from the Old Post Office that is still functional. The cathedral hails many tourists due to its heritage and fame. The statue of the Virgin Mary outside in the yard draws one's gaze to it set against the stark red walls of... More

Just admiring the beauty of the architecture. Was drizzling on that day hence not much pictures taken.

Right in the center of the district one tourist area it's surrounded by tours and shops. The cathedral itself is very beautiful but is closed around lunch so plan around that. It's next to parks and near many other sights so it's a great place to start off your adventure.

The Cathedral is opposite the Post Office, so you can't miss it. When we visited nobody was allowed inside so basically all you could do was take photos outside. Didn't spend more than 10 minutes here but the building itself is really distinctive, worth a visit.

Still in very active use, this cathedral is a reminder of earlier times when Catholic Vietnamese had significant political influence. The building still commands its location and is a focal point of activity.

I don't like religion so I didn't go inside, not even sure if that's possible. But as far as buildings go, this one is lovely. Living in Vietnam where every structure has an outside layer of plaster, I was just happy to see a decent brick building. Very impressive and in an interesting neighbourhood.

We passed by the building in our late afternoon walk during our year end holiday & I can't stop myself from taking a few pictures of it. It is beautiful indeed. Furthermore it is located across a park where we can rest while enjoying the beautiful view of the building. It is located very near to the post office, another... More

Didn't have a chance to come inside, but the building looks very beautiful, the names written all over the walls are upsetting.

Located right across the street from the Central Post Office. A picturesque building, but nothing copared to most European churches. It is singificant for HCMC and its' cultural/religious background. Limited times to tour given services and location, but mostly accessible
