This area is a b it off the general route for tourists as it’s a bit of a drive to District 5, but once you get used to the layout and manic busy-ness of all the side streets with stalls and selling everything you could...More

Very large Chinese influence here and all across South East Asia. Well integrated as part of the local people with their own take on customs and food. All really good and great for shopping in this area.

It’s a waste of time. Space is crammed. Not much things to see. Traffic is terrible. Better spend your time in other places.

It is a crowded city with lots of going on. Nothing would "wind down" on any day except the New Year day or so.

It is worth every minute to spend your time visiting Cholon. The price tend to be cheaper than Ben Thanh Market area.
