We stopped by at this mosque for Zohor and Asar prayer whilst transiting at SGN. Alhamdulillah for this mosque as there's no prayer room in the airport.

Whilst not particularly large, it has history and according to our tour guide, Malaysians contributed a lot towards upkeep of this mosque.

There's a lady selling coffee and fresh lime juice in the mosque's courtyard. The best milk coffee so far in HCM. Other than VND she accepts MYR for payment too.

Very beautiful and peaceful despite being located in a busy area right in the middle of district 1. Very small but clean and well kept. Dress appropriately. I couldn't see the ladies section. Loved the light green colour. Looking up at the minarets with the high rise buildings was quite something. I went at prayer time but it was very quiet. There are a few halal places to eat opposite. Worth a stop if you are in the area. To be honest, I walked past so many times without realising it was there!

Visited Saigon for the day during our cruise trip across south East Asia

Did my research before we got to Saigon and found this mosque - central and near Sheraton hotel and the high end shops.

Lovely little place. Was quite and serene the day we visited and a hot hot day
Myself and hubby prayed our zuhr prayers with ease.
Wudu provision for both men and women

Nice courtyard where we rested under a tree shade.
There was a Muslim women selling fresh squeezed orange juices and some small snacks. Was nice and friendly. Had no trouble from anyone.

We didn’t eat outside the mosque even though there was 2 halal restaurants close by

We also found other halal places other side - close to the main outside market. See photos for the street where these shops were. Had a good choice of Muslim apparel shops and halal food places. Friendly people.

Bought some head scarfs and tried halal pho (noodles)

My favorite place in Ho Chi minh is Dong Du street that has this mosque and 2 halal resto nearby. This is very Asia typical mosque. With the big pool for ablution/ wudhu for men.
The wudhu place for women however copy more to the arabic / Turkish style. With the sittings. The wudhu place for women is just build new i think around 2015 maybe. Because I'm very often visit Vietnam from around 2012. First there was no separate wudhu for women. But after that they build it. It's in the left side of the stairs, on ground floor.
I think the keeper of this mosque should be highly appreciated. As they keep this mosque running well.
Before, everytime visit Saigon i was staying in Sheraton mostly, this mosque is just right next to Sheraton. But now i used staying in small hotel in front of this mosque. The window has direct view to this mosque that bring peace.
As i see this mosque actually have 2 floor. But bottom floor i dont know from where to access it and it's so sad that bottom floor seems not maintained? because it's quite big and beautiful place .
If anyone visit, please kindly donate generously for this mosque. There is box for donation on the women area. I dont know on the men area, i guess there should be too.

Built by the Tamil muslims the design of this moqsue is reminiscent of their typical style. Its located right in the middle of Quan(District)1.Simple places to eat close by are aplenty.

I was staying at Sheraton Saigon which almost next door to this beautiful Mosque. I happen to walk on the street right outside of the hotel when I saw this beautiful Mosque. If you are Muslim then this would be a great place to Pray when in HCMC or if you are not Muslim at least you should visit this beautiful Mosque.

A very pretty mosque in the middle of the bustling city, unfortunately there were restrictions on women seeing anything beyond the small women's section, and then when we sat outside in the courtyard, were harassed by some fellow trying to sell us herbal hair rejuvenating product and who was extolling the evils of pork (we weren't eating pork or hadn't said anything).

Dropped a Friend here for Friday prayers.. there’s a couple of street stalls outside the mosque selling halal food but be wary if ur not sure if truly halal.. some stalls just have the word ‘halal’ but are handled by non- Muslim ladies..

A nice Mosque in a quiet spot however we were not really encouraged to enter possibly due to the time, 12 noon on a Friday. In fact one individual was quite bluntly suggesting that we should grab some "Halal" lunch and leave him to his prayers.
