This is a nice place to observe sun set or just go and enjoy the breeze and see as ferry takes people around. You can get a very good view of the city line from the banks of this river.

Don't let the photos fool you-this is one of the dirtiest rivers in Vietnam. Every time the water evaporates the rain stinks like garbage. I have personally seen people walking to the river in order to dump trash. It's not ok for swimming or drinking,...More

Its a very picturesque river. There are lovely pathways created and areas to sit and watch the boats coming and going, the old colonial hotels nearby are good photoshooting location.

My wife and I are staying at a hotel along the rivers. It’s a nice respite from the crazy traffic and horns of HCMC.

This is lovely for a stroll especially in district 3 or Phu Nhuan. It is much cleaner than before but unfortunately the locals still love slinging their rubbish in the river. Beautiful for night photography.

I was hoping for a nice boulevard to walk down, If it is there, I didn't find it, but the walk down to the river from the People Committee Hall down Nguyen Hue plaza is great. It does get to the river, but Ton Due...More
