Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We started our tomb tour here. It is in a sorry state of disrepair and I hope that funding can be found to bring it back to its splendour. The location is beautiful and tranquil and it is a good introduction to the following tomb visits. I wouldn’t make the trip especially out to see it if I was on limited time but we had a guide and driver from Bee Bee Travel which made all much more simpler and also more interesting.

I found some reviews on this in the Royal Tombs listing in TripAdvisor. Thieu Tri was the third Nguyen Emperor and the son of Minh Mang. A friend told me that he was the only Nguyen emperor to not plan his tomb. Hardly anyone was here today. In fact, I guess I got here after it closed because no one was collecting fees. This place is certainly still in its natural state and could use some refurbishment, but I think its probably the most beautiful tomb because of this. It's not walled off like other tombs. I liked coming here and it was well worth the effort to find it.

Apart from the tomb of Thieu Tri, in the complex located in a pine forest, there are other temples that are being restored and a huge cemetery.
During our visit we were completely alone.
It will be more worth it when the complex is restored.

The Imperial Tomb of Emperor Thieu Tri was built in 1848 and located 7km from the Imperial City. We were the only ones here, and I can see why, as the ruins are not in great shape. The surrounding vegetation makes this more beautiful than it is. It is a shame, as this place has potential to be a major attraction.

This was the best preserved tomb that we visited today. Many separate buildings, usually raised above ground level, in a linear sequence with gardens and ponds, roof tile and gable decoration particularly impressive
