We bumped into Lui after exploring the citadel, he was such a friendly funny character and told us about his company. We could not refuse. They picked us up from the hostel the following day and we were welcomed with breakfast and a coffee. All the drivers were very friendly and Lui gave us insightful information about each of the spots we visited. I was the only solo rider in the group with limited experience with heavy rain and never felt unsafe. We all thoroughly enjoyed the day and were so thankful for bumping into him. Would highly recommend.

We were planning to do the Hai Van pass as a group of 4 but did not know who to book the experience through when Lui approached us near the Citadel in Hue. He explained about his company and how he had been operating for 13 years and making the trip minimum 3-4 days a week. He told us how they had the options of driving yourself or using an easy rider depending on our previous experience and showed us how they would transport all our luggage as well.
On the day they picked us up from our hostel before taking us to join the group. Lui made sure we had all eaten and had water available. The ride itself was very enjoyable with lots of stops along the way to see parts of Hue and Da Nang. The easy riders were all so friendly and helpful and lots of fun - really made the trip what it was. We were also taken to our hostels in Hoi An at the end of the day.
Overall it was a great day, cannot recommend enough

This day trip is a great way to travel from Hue to Hoi An by motorbike. The drivers took us to a beautiful waterfall and then to a fishing village where we were served the best food I’ve had yet in Vietnam. We could then sit back and enjoy the views as we travelled over the Ha Van pass. This tour was very well organised and we really loved the family atmosphere. Would recommend this to anyone!!!

The best experience!
We were approached by Lui outside the Citadel and he was so lovely and informative on the itinerary of the Hai Van Pass day trip. We had planned to get to Hoi An by train but after speaking to Lui we were convinced to do it this way and I’m so glad we did.
We were collected from our hotel at 8.30am and taken to their main office to meet the other travellers and family riders. We arrived in Hoi An at about 6pm where we were then greeted by other family members and got to chill as a group and have some beers.
I rode with Lui. He was amazing! I told him I was a little nervous because I had never been on a bike before and he was so considerate of this. He made sure to keep checking that I was okay throughout the journey. Within a matter of minutes in to the journey, my mind was totally at ease. All the drivers rode completely safe and we all felt so safe with them.
The stops were great and the whole day was planned amazingly, taking in to consideration the weather and if any changes needed to be made to the itinerary.
We had a number of stops and at each stop we were provided with refreshments (coffee, water, ice cream…) and our lunch at one of the stops. The food was amazing.
The whole family were lovely so knowledgeable.
If you’re thinking of doing this, please do, you will not regret it!

Great way to experience multiple sites in one day. We rode beautiful countrysides and mountain passes. The riders were very experienced and professional. Felt very safe even though I have never been on a bike before. Highly recommend if you want to to go from Hue to Hoi A via the scenic route.

What an amazing experience, we were nervous before having never been on a motorcycle, but the trip was fantastic and they were so accomodating and safe! One of the highlights of our trip to Vietnam, and would highly recommend! Lui was a great guide as well!

An amazing unforgettable experience! We had heard of this from a friend who recently travelled to Vietnam and we are so glad that we joined! The experience felt so safe, we made so many stops including Hai Van Pass, seafood lunch, Monkey mountain and marble mountain. They were very attentive and it was an experience of a lifetime!

If I could, I would give these guys more than 5 stars. They were honestly incredible - if you’re hesitating about booking let me make your mind up for you: just book it!
Luis approached us (very nicely) outside of the citadel - at first I was like “ok just someone else trying to sell us something 🙄” but within five minutes we had ditched our original plan to get the train to Da Nang the next day and were excitedly signing up to his tour. Just a quick chat with Luis and it became clear that this was something special that we didn’t want to miss.
We were both a little apprehensive about the bikes, but we are SO SO SOOOO glad we did this! A spontaneous decision turned out to be one of the biggest highlights of our time in Vietnam and we made the best memories on this tour.
The whole team looked after us impeccably throughout the tour, which was very well organised. We stopped regularly for drinks/photo opps - and every stop felt like it genuinely added something to the tour (instead of other tours where you might feel like you’re only stopping to be pushed to buy something from a tourist trap shop).
Stops included:
- a small fishing village where we learnt about its history (I’m so sorry that I can’t remember her name, but Luis sister gave us a great run down of the village’s story)
- an amazing clear lagoon, where we jumped in and swam. Guides were amazing at taking photos!
- lunch (catered for vegans which was great) was included as well as plenty of drinks throughout
- top of the Hai Van pass. Incredible experience riding the pass and we had plenty of time to take in the views at the top before riding back down
- Marble Mountain. Amazing place to visit (pack bug spray though!) and the guides were great helping us to buy tickets and explain where to go etc
We felt incredibly safe and well looked after the entire time. I rode with Papa Le aka Luis dad and felt totally comfortable even when he went speedy!
(Also the riders were very accommodating when we said we wanted to finish in Da Nang instead of Hoi An and dropped us off at our hotel)
I can’t rate them highly enough - they deserve every single one of their positive reviews. BOOK IT!

Excellent tour and amazing scenery - Lui and the guys are great guides! It was heavy rain on the morning we went and we almost cancelled but very glad we didn't, they had all the rain suits ready and the misty mountains made it only feel more authentic!

What kind of motorbike is it? I only have a Licence for a car and have experience riding a moped (no gears). Would I be okay riding by myself on this trip?

They have scooters as well (no gears), therefore you will be fine, even with a driving license only.
I did the tour last April.
