Beautiful for a photo from the front, but not much to see inside that you can't see in other spots in Vietnam

We came by boat and the temple was a nice view. It looked run down but then had children and monks praying and cleaning in it. There were also markets next to the temple so plenty for everyone. Only took 20 minutes to see everything. Be wary of the steep steps to get up to the temple. I went and... More

Whereas the Imperial City has been well taken care of, the Thien Mu Pagoda looks like it has seen better days. I remember it being very colourful 7 years ago when I was here. Now it still looks impressive but it also looks neglected. The gardens out back are peaceful and quiet. Try to come early, preferably before breakfast, if... More

We got a boat ride here from our hotel, as part of tour to Citadel. Ride was lovely. Beautiful spot overlooking river. Quite busy with tourists, but okay. Interesting buildings and history. There were several monks still going about their business.

Up river, an hour or so by tourist boat, but worth the visit. Founded in 1601 it is still a working monastery. The Pagoda is an important Buddhist shrine

The pagoda has steps leading up to it. It is in a great location on top of a hill and quite extensive grounds. I believe it is still a working Buddhist temple as I saw monks there. The area are peaceful and there is shade and a nice breeze. There is no fee to go in.

Really beautiful temple with a massive set of steps leading up from the river. Beautiful view from up top. The temple is a lovely ornate, place, very peaceful but also very popular with tourists so go early before the crowds. A really good option when in Huè, we really enjoyed our visit and subsequent cruise on the Perfume River.

We arrived there quite wet as we were exploring Hue temples on our scooter. I thing 8 stories, pagoda is beautiful surrounded by beautiful gardens and it exposes you a little bit to a real life on monks as this is fully active temple. Also there is Austin car with a bit of history attached to it, defiantly worth seeing.... More

Thien Mu Pagoda is one of the most iconic places in Vietnam. It's temple is gorgeous and the pagoda stands tall over Ha Khe Hill overlooking the Perfume River. We had a very special moment in the temple, leaving an offering of food and flowers. We lit incense and stood in contemplation amidst the billowing smoke for a few minutes... More

This was a lovely peaceful place at the top of a hill, there was lots to see but as always on a guided tour not enough time to see it all, The pagoda has seven stories and is often the subject of folk tales by locals. It is also regarded as the unofficial symbol of the former imperial capital. There... More
