They get an extra point because it looks impressive from the outside, but that's about it.

The aquarium inside was extremely underwhelming. Dim lighting, dirty hallways, cloudy looking tanks, and overall just a boring experience. We were better off staying on the boat and taking pictures of Tri Nguyen aquarium from the outside. Highly recommend going to Vinh Pearl instead to see the mermaid show and sea life there.

Nha Trang is an amazing place so I was expecting more from this aquarium!

The place needs to be improved. There are not many kinds of sea creature over here. But in general, it is not so bad

This tour was part of our package. The venue is really dirty and the rubbish floating in the water surrounding it is really horrid. They did have two of the oldest men on the planet trying to scoop the rubbish out but i suspect it was more for show than actually to clean up.
There are a variety of fish in rather small tanks along with some pretty tired looking sea horses and eels. The tanks just seemed so filthy.
Outside there were two large ocean type pools, one had some very large fish in it but you could barely see them as the water was filthy and i did wonder how the poor things breathed. The other contained 7 really large sea turtles, again the water was filthy so unless the poor things were right on the surface you would never be able to see them.
I was really shocked when some Chinese tourists went right into the water and started pulling on their flippers i bought this to the attention of our guide but he insisted that this was ok and that we could do it too as it was good luck. We chose not to tug at them.
There was another enclosed pool area, i don't know what was in it but they were trying to entice them with prawns on a fishing line. At that point we decided it was time to leave.
I would not recommend this as a tourist attraction. I think as Australians we are so lucky with our beatiful aquariums, zoos and nature parks that places like this in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand just upset us. Do yourself a favour and stay away.

This was one of the most surreal...and spooky... experiences I've ever had in my life. We went to see the aquarium (supposedly a big tourist attraction) but when we got to the island, the whole place was deserted. Some locals were chilling watching TV, others sitting on chairs on the narrow pavements but it was so quiet. It got worse when we reached the aquarium - the gate was shut with a padded lock and it was a little scary cos there was just no one around. Finally after a rattling the gate for about 5 minutes, a security guy (who seemed surprised that anybody had come to see it) opened the gate and we finally got to look around the aquarium - alone. There wasn't a single other person looking around this supposed 'attraction' - it was so bizarre and very eerie to be honest. We were relieved after about 20 minutes when a Vietnamese family came and looked around but they were the only other people we saw in the two hours we were there. To this day I've no idea why it was so deserted and why it's billed as an attraction - we went on a Monday afternoon in the middle of July; does that explain anything? Either way, you expect to see a few people moping around! Very, very odd.

This was the worst! It was a concrete mass made into a ship . It needed re painting all over.
The worst were the tanks of large cat fish , turtles 🐢 and 🦈. All were in too small tanks.
The sting ray could not go up and down as the rank was too narrow.
Really horrible
Not a good place to support , they need help in how to show off in an aquarium.

Only visited this place as part of a tour and was shocked to see the conditions of the animals. The tanks are so tiny the animals barely have room to move. There were 3 turtles kept in a tank inside so tiny they couldn’t even turn around or change direction. It was heartbreaking to see and they looked distressed. The water in the tanks was filthy and when we got to the shark tank they were all just sitting in the bottom, which sharks aren’t meant to do. They all looked sick.

There really wasn’t much to see and we spent maybe 10 minutes there before we left, as seeing the conditions of the animals was horrifying.

Venue was dirty and rubbish everywhere. Toilets were filthy and none of them flushed. Would not recommend funding this place’s animal cruelty practices.

Our boat tours last stop was here, it was an absolute disgrace. The tanks were far too small, dirty and the fish looked like they deserved to be rescued back into the sea. There was a large area cordoned off with green turtles in we just wanted to let them swim free. This place should not be allowed to stay open. Don’t visit and support it.

Why Asia Vacations support this place by sending their tours here is beyond me. An absolute waste of a day. We would not recommend this place for a second. The fish should be set free and the place closed down

Don't be fooled by the interesting look of this place from a distance. Horrible experience. Extremely small tanks for large 1mtr+ fish, turtles, rays. Water quality is very very bad in the large tanks, green algae and very murky. Large outdoor enclosures are stagnant and covered in green algae. Aquatic life covered in algae. To top all this off the whole time we could hear a horrible distressful scream coming from the direction of the seal enclosure. We left before going near the seal enclosure but can only assume the screaming was coming from a caged seal.

I've been here a few times when I have had friends come over with me. It is best seen as part of a day trip instead of making a separate trip. There is a charge but it's not too exy. Just about all of the Islands that you visit on these trips charge an extra amount to get off the boat.
The Aquarium has quite a good variety of sea life and if you are from Europe and have not seen anything like this before it is a must visit. It's great how they have set the thing inside a great concrete fish. It takes quite a bit of walking to get there and back, so if you are not sure footed just take it easy.
