Tucked away next to the port ( but on the main bus route - only VND 4000 fare from the main road with all the restaurants / bars ) this is a little gem at only VND 15,000 entrance fee. Not too happy about the...More

Saddest experience, many of the sharks do not move they just lie on the bottom of their small dirty pool, seems very depressing. The turtles looked depressed and sad in their tiny dirty enclosure, but the worst is the seal, in a tiny glass cage...More

The place has an okay variety of animals but the tanks were dirty and the big animal should not be in such conditions. An hour takes to see everything if you stay and read some about the animals.

Don’t come if you’re expecting a western style, well developed aquarium or you’ll be disappointed. In saying that, we came around 9-9.30 coinciding with the time the fish were being fed in the tanks, highly reccomend visiting at that time. There’s no dedicated shows so...More

They have a exhibit of various sea creatures and extinct remains. They have a turtle reserve and you can spend hours looking at them. The directions are clearly marked and help you to move from one exhibit to other.

With the local tour guide at this place, we understood much about the Vietnam sea and inside the sea... Many kinds of fish, coral... and a huge skeleton of big whale display... Supper!

Nice display of live fish and bottled items were interesting. Easy to find lol - if you go too far the port staff will direct you.

A nothing to shout about Museum. You may want to give it a pass unless you are into the sea creatures that you can see at any aquarium. The displays is a little scarce for it's title - National Oceanographic Museum, I am sorry to...More

I don't like zoos/aquariums in general but I wanted to see some ocean creatures from this side of the world and this place is absolutely the worst. They had tiny tanks with far too many fish in one (11 lion fish in 1 tank is...More

They have a wide variety of ocean animals and fish on display. Although the fish tanks appeared fairly clean, many of the larger fish and animals were living in terrible conditions. The saddest part was probably the sea turtles and the manatee they have, they...More

Dear Navylovechris, my comment wasn't in any way meant against Vietnam. It was a reaction to my experience and the comments about the museum here that say how great it is. And as I said, the exposition is really interesting... More

Yep, like the others have said, $15.00 U.S. Nothing in Vietnam that you do will cost very much by western standards! The place is not amazing but it is an interesting way to fill in an hour or two....
