For the Price it’s just not worth it. They charge so much for green fees then a caddy fee then at the end the caddy expected a tip. I refused as the whole time he was juggling my clubs dropping them banging them together and I told him to look after them or he can buy new ones. He knew no distances. I had my Range finder but it was just disappointing as I played in da nang and ho chi min before this payed less got awesome service and awesome caddy’s and the course was unlike I’d seen. To spend $200 here and play on a course where the fairways aren’t looked after and the caddy is lazy doesn’t fix or do anything and expects to be tipped is just sad. I’m never one to not tip as I was just that disappointed with it today that I’d never go back and recommend you don’t waste your money or time here.

Avoid this place as poor service

Went to go and play a round of golf, my hotel phoned up and it was half price friday. Hotel told me 2.050,000 including clubs. When arrived i was told it was an extra 850,000 for clubs plus 700,000 for a spectator! I paid then went to play at which point they said my long sleeve top was not suitable and i needed a collar which i did not have, i have played in this top in the uk as it looks very smart and its a technical layer ideal for the heat out here and long sleeves to protect my arms.

At this point i was fed up and decided I wanted a refund as this was getting crazy with rude staff and happy to take my money but then pointed out the dress code afterwards. However having now read the other reviews it seems i may of been lucky in avoiding further disappointment.

Beautiful Golf Course

I played here twice. I had the twilight rate both times but teed off a bit earlier. I’m a good golfer so I enjoyed the course and the challenge. The second time I played I hit the ball much better and had a few birdies as a nice reward. The course is nice, you have to hit it straight. Poor shots will be penalized. Less experienced and less skilled players will find it frustrating because of the difficult and undulating greens and tough pin positions. Par 3s are challenging as you have to hit it over a ravine or water on almost most of them.

Overall a really nice experience. Will definitely play when I come back.

Great course, average customer service

Golf was on the list of things to do during our Singapore/Vietnam visit. The day before we travelled to the newly opened KN Links course, but the service was incredibly poor. We Aussies are so spoilt for course choice and service compared to the so called luxury Vietnamese courses.

Anyway, we ended up playing Diamond Bay. The course itself is brilliant. Plenty of water and sand. The greens were tricky and quick but no unplayable. Fairways were mint.

We had two caddies who assisted us with distances and green reads. Not a heap of english but enough to deliver the vital messages. Water was provided which in Vietnam is a no-brainer given the heat and humidity. At $400 for two players green fees, club hire, buggy hire and caddy hire, you really want to love your golf to play here.

Happy to have ticked the "Play golf in Vietnam" box. Good opportunity for budding Aussies to run a golf tour company as the area is booming....

Terrible - badly managed - worst experience we have ever had - ripped off - pay twice for same thing. Don't go there!!!

Go at your own risk. Ripped off - says twilight unlimited but you pay for 18 holes anyway - price includes caddy then you have to pay caddy. So badly managed with staff.

Expensive and over rated.
May 2017 • Friends
We played a 3 ball game at Diamond Bay today, all i can say is it expensive and the facilities to go with it were substandard. They charge literary for everything and you are not told. I paid £165.00 for a round, and they want to charge for water on your buggy which no one tells you about. Also looked like rain and they charge $5 for umbrella hire. When we complained at the end we were told if we did not pay then the staff will have too, which to my mind is blackmail. The course is well maintained with good level of bunkers and water hazards to make it challenging, but still not worth the money. My caddie was good but spoke little english. I would have given a higher rating if it wasn't for the cost to play and customer service .

Terrible experience - poor staff - beautiful course - far too expensive

Where do I start? I emailed bookings multiple times to confirm my time and what I needed which was fine. After looking forward to this trip for ages, I was on my honeymoon at the time and played solo, I booked a taxi and showed up. The course looks gorgeous, lots of unfinished construction but still looked a treat. That's where the good first impressions stopped, the pro shop stocks nothing, no mementos, no tees, second hand balls which cost a fortune.... the staff were rude and unfriendly she insisted on payment via card even though I had cash. I could deal with that but my request for stuff shaft clubs, although confirmed, was not delivered. I was provided with a poor quality set of massive cavity back regular flex shafts, needless to say that a few golf balls were lost due to wayward drives and irons. It definitely ruined the day. Caddy was ok, offered clubs but nothing else! Really negative experience, caddy then asked for a 200,000 VND tip. Go to Vin Pearl, I opted not to play due to my experience here. Stay away unless you're keen.

Had great fun at the driving range, cheap compared to Australia and what superb scenery hitting out into the ocean!

The course is on muddy reclaimed land in a valley with minimal natural features ...muddy long grassed very narrow fairways ,water hazards and with the ball not running golf was just ok...not in the same street as Vinpearl. !!!!! ps the greens were good , running at 9.5and the reception and club house staff/ experience was first class. (CT. handicap 5)......
An opportunity lost with magnificent costal sand dunes only a few Kms away . ctale
