Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited this artisanal chocolatier for our son's 6th birthday on our first trip to Yerevan. And we couldn't have had a better way to spend our afternoon! The love and the professionalism of the team, the attention to detail and the care shown to our children were above all expectations. We had a brief history of chocolate followed by a masterclass . The chocolates produced here are preservative and colorant free, with many different flavours. We left with a massive bag of goodness and fond memories of the warmth of the team. Definitely recommend.

I visited Chocodin for a chocolate making workshop and I have to say its one of the best afternoons spent in Yerevan. I've learnt so much about the whole process of making and eating chocolate. This workshop is certainly suitable for any child, adult or chocolate lover. The lady conducting the tour was so knowledgeable and passionate about the subject, that I felt intrigued to learn more and more. I'll certainly appreciate chocolate so much more now. The flavours tasted this afternoon were exquisite and ones I never thought I'd like. Me and my friends spoke no Armenian, but the English translation was perfect. We got to make some beautiful medallions and kinder surprises, which truly are a surprise. This is a small business but amazing I promise you won't regret going for a workshop or even just to buy some handmade chocolates that are made with love. Thank you for a lovely Birthday memory.

The tour was great!
I booked it for my husband's birthday, and we loved the cozy atmosphere there. It was really interesting to learn more about the history of cocoa and chocolate and try different flavours and types of chocolate (though some of them were a bit too exotic for our taste :D)
But all in all it was really fun, Diana and the rest of the crew made a good effort of trying to speak English!

If you're in Yerevan then you owe it to yourself to visit this place, best with partner or friends to fully enjoy your time. We spent 3 hours, had lots of info about the chocolate industry and its history. Examined the process of making and preparing, made chocolate with the help of professionals then spent time tasting all types of unique handmade chocolate while drinking tea and talking with the incredibly polite and well-informed staff. It's one thing to visit such an incredible place but it's even way better when you find that people who work there are so passionate about their craft and take great pride in what they make. Totally recommend this place!

I've never been to that kind of place before! In this a small workshop hidden in an unassuming suburb of Yerevan, the owners will tell you about the history of chocolate throughout the world, and their passion for their craft. We reserved the day before, went there with a group of 4 people, and made "kinder surprise" and mendiants that we got to take home with us. We also tasted all the different kinds of chocolates that they make at ChocoDin, including an AMAZING armenian version of the famous After Eights with tarragon instead of mint. Overall a great experience, and great value for the price (about 10$ per person)

I spent an afternoon here with friends for the tour, tasting, and chocolate making class. This is artisanal chocolate workshop, and the only one of its kind in Armenia where production goes from chocolate bean to chocolate confection. The owners were kind, knowledgable and passionate about what they do, and excited to share their expertise with my group of 4. We went on a private tour of the small workshop, which included a tasting of close to 30 different kinds of chocolates that celebrated local ingredients and the heritage of the chocolate itself. We also had the opportunity to make our own chocolate molds to take home with us.
I highly recommend this as a unique activity to do in Yerevan.

I went with 3 friends for what was little over a 2 1/2 hour chocolate making, tasting and learning program. The workers were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They offer the program in Armenian and my friend translated, but the workers also spoke up with information in English.
We got to make 3 different styles of chocolate treats. This was followed by a chocolate sampling board of over 20 filled chocolates made with natural ingredients including beets, tarragon and Armenian cognac. We all had a huge sugar buzz at the end!
I am already trying to figure out who else I can take for this interesting and tasty time and who of my friends would like this. Great value for your time and money if you like chocolate.
Note that the location is not very clearly marked but we just called them and they told the driver where to come. They are a micro-business so you need a reservation for the tour and making.
You take home what you make and you can also buy chocolate by the piece, bar or a boxed set (small and large), They also have hazelnut butter, peanut butter, tahini sauce and other butters they make using their stone grinder. .
