Yeah, it's the countryside of Armenia I guess? I don't know what they mean by this but the mountains are beautiful. Just drive north-east from Yerevan and you'll see beautiful sights

Beautiful experience,, I planned to reach these mountains but I figured out that there's also a temple called Amberd, beautiful temple & amazing old church..

Very scenic drive and the weather was nice. Stopped over several times. The landscape changes every season.

Most beautiful experience in Armenia, is Mountains. My favorite is Mt. Arragats. Mt. Arragats have many route, best is go behind Ashtorakt. Fantastic.

I see that this attraction is listed under Yerevan, but we felt that the best viewing of these pointed, relatively young block mountains is from Mestia, Georgia. The highest among them are snow-covered all year around. The roads are terrible and I would not recommend...More

As winer is close, all ski lovers are welcome to visit Tsaghkadzor ski resort. It was accommodated for Soviet athletes to prepare for Winter Olympics 88. Nowadays it is renovated and ready to host skiers from all over the world. @ArmDesk

You should go by car, ask in Yerevan for transport. You can find good hotels in Yerevan. You can go peacefully to nagorno Karabach if you want.
