Great performance, so long (1 came late and spent 1 hours, yet it was still not finished). As far as I was informed it takes place every evening but Monday. It is worth visiting.

Had thought this might be a bit cheesy but was really impressed by the evening dancing-fountain and light show, and how well it was choreographed with the various music played. It's an attraction that seems to appeal to everyone - young, old, familes, tourists and locals all attend, and the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. A delightful experience.

The DANCING FOUNTAINS are in front of the History Museum of Yerevan, in the trapezoid part of the enormous Republic Square. This musical fountain is best during the night when the masterful combination of sound, lights and water particles create a magical spectacle for entertainment purposes.
I have been there twice during the operation of the dancing or musical fountains and it was amazing. I consider it as a not to be missed night event in the heart of the Capital City of Yerevan, in Armenia.

I have been to Armenia twice and this place at night is my absolute favorite place of all places in Yerevan. It is one of the best water fountain shows I have seen. The music, the lights, and the dancing fountains are mesmerizing. The music keeps changing and the lights and the movements of the fountain change with it. The fountains dance beautifully to the music and make you in awe. This is a must-see if you come to Yerevan.

A must do when you are in Yerevan. Everday at night, starting from 8 or 9 pm until around 11 pm you can see the fountains moving in different colors and there is background music playing (some classical music or some cringe 80s songs). Everyone is gathering there to take pictures and film videos. Do not get too close or you will get very wet.

Clean and nice area where all tourists go at night. Surrounded by tourist shops and restaurants, you can spend hours in the area.

My understanding is that the performances start on May 1 and the shows are from 8:00 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. It is really worth going to see it. Not only is the water display beautiful, the music is very appropriate to the dance, and the people watching opportunity worth the trip into the center of Yerevan.
