The Sundarbans are difficult to visit as the area is covered with mangrove forest and the region is a delta with many rivers and channels. It is this very remoteness that makes the area such a paradise for nature. Tigers are the main inhabitants in terms of attraction but to say that they are elusive is an understatement. Even professional... More

The Sundarbans at Bangladesh side is a wonderful place to visit during winter season. From Dhaka, one can take bus or train to go to Khulna. We took the train this time which was excellent. After reaching Khulna, went to the riverside to take first a boat to go near our ship to travel to Sundarbans. We were a big... More

In the interest of balance we should start by saying that the majority of people on the tour seemed to be very happy customers, it was however not what we were expecting. It felt more like a cruise and geared towards tourists who like to spend their money on creature comforts and personal service rather than cultural and environmental experience.... More

It was a three day four nights trip by ship mixed with canal cruising by boat, exploring some of the beaches and looking for some friendly deer and tigers !!! This was one of the best trip i ever had, the greenery, silence, night with stars. You might feel how much you love life and how much you need to... More

Bangladesh may not be top of everyone's holiday destination list but that's partly why we visited- and we are so glad we did. We spent a week in the country as part of a month's traveling in South East Asia and it was definitely up there as one of our favorite experiences. We visited in November 2016 and although some... I booked a tour with a company called "The Bengal Tours". It involved going on a diesel powered boat far into the Sunderbans and, being taken onshore via small boat, to do a short trek along the beach and into the forests. Being here was an experience of a lifetime. It was quiet, mostly pristine and a nature lovers paradise.... More

A good place visit for a short trip. You will be able to see the world's one of the largest mangrove forest and lots of monkeys moving freely in freedom. There is a hatchery for crocodiles and some pet crocodiles. Worth to visit. Recommensed time is between November to January. A hired local boat can take you to the area... More
