Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A wonderful multi stories shopping mall located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It’s the biggest shopping mall in South Asia, and the 24th biggest mall in the world. Many brands, food courts, stalls, amusement park and others.

The roller coaster located in front of the mall, with the other 8-10 rides, was the only thing I chose to ride on a beautiful Nov 11, 2014 day in Dhaka. First the good... plenty of food vendors located on the street in front of the mall... stole some peanuts and 3 bananas before entering the park. The Bangladeshis are such wonderful people, letting white Americans who are unemployed take food without paying... God bless them. The rollercoaster ride was a lot shorter in duration than I am accustomed to in Las Vegas, but was fun for Dhaka. Another plus, was I lost no money gambling before or after the ride, .... Except for the peanut vendor who demanded 10 taka and the Banana man wanted 100 taka, The Bangladeshi wife talked him down to 15 taka. I've learned my lesson... no more stealing, the Bangladeshis will find you sooner or 2 hours later

Jamuna Future Park is an absolutely huge mall. Each floor could easily take 30 minutes to browse.

The mall isn't signposted inside very well. It was difficult to get our bearings and we stumbled across a poorly designed floor plan. Am sure they could have visited a few malls in the UAE or London for ideas.

The food court on the top floor doesn't offer much variety. One has to meander through endless rows of Indian and Chinese restaurants before finding something that looks edible. It did have a KFC and a Pizza Hut, but we ended up eating Indonesian food which was severely overpriced.

Choice of shops was good but difficult to find, unless you've been there before. Public toilets were horrible and dirty.

It offers a small theme park to the front of the mall, but we didn't try it. We also spotted a gym and a cinema.

Not likely to return here. Much prefer Bashundhara City mall to this place.

While JFP is the biggest mall in the country, it feels incomplete. Most of the shops aren't even open yet. The ones that are open though are quite nice. The cineplex is good too, but their screens are a bit small.

Bashundhara City offers a more holistic experience, but JFP will overtake it once the shops are open.

Mall opened about 2 years ago but till to date, only about 10% of retail space taken up. The mall is really very very big if fully opened but sadly it seems that there are only few tenants. This mall needs an anchor tenant that can bring in the crowd. Don't waste your time and money going to this mall with so few shops. I certainly was very disappointed as I had read the size of the mall online and was keen to see it.

Below average experience. If you don't have anything to do, still advised to avoid. If need to go shopping, Better to visit specific shops in Gulshan and Banani area.

The biggest mall of the country with various options for shopping and fun activities including movie cinemas and outdoor amusement park.

Gets busier only be the evening, even on weekends

Most of the shops are either local branded outlets or multi-brand outlets. Even the local brands looks quite expensive, however caters mostly to the middle class families not the city.

Quite impressed to see that the cinemas offer 3D movies, however didn't experience it by myself as we didn't had much time to go.

Several food options available on the 5th court, offering indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. Overall average food quality.

Amazed to see how fake products are being sold at so many shops. Even a look alike of Subway restaurant.

Too big that you get lost. The shops aren't organized. Maps should be provided on each floor. With the names of the shop.

No way, only 40% of the mall is occupied by stores, rest of the mall was empty. All these stores could fit into 2 floors and they could have used this money on Dhaka's infrastructure instead. The mall was deserted, there were less than 100 visitors in the whole mall on a working day when I visited the Mall.
