Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This riverfront corniche of Sg Brunei provides ample space for people to stroll, jog or simply enjoy the view of Kg Ayer from the mainland. Built and opened in time to celebrate the golden jubilee of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei, this attraction is popular with the tourists as well as the locals on the weekends.

A new park besides the river, starting from the fire station at Jln Tutong and goes all the way to the new Kg Ayer suspension bridge. A jog to the bridge and back is around 6km. Along the way, great view of Kg Ayer water village, the river traffic and Bandar Seri Begawan skyline. For ship lovers, interesting feature about Kg Ayer water village life is you will see water taxis, water school buses, water ambulances, water fire engines, small fishing boats, marine police boats, etc, cruising by one another. Walking distance from all hotels in BSB. Bicycle friendly and really worth a ride not only for exercise but also the view. Vendors hiring tri and quad-cycles beside the track. Can be quite hot sometimes between 4-5pm. Great addition to Brunei's attractions.

Very nice park in the city center of BSB.
Deserted during mid days due to hot weather but lively in the late afternoons and evenings.

This park locates next to the Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque is a nice place for a sunset stroll or a jog. The area is clean and have a few outdoor exercise equipment to keep everyone active. At the very top of the viewing platform, one could see sweeping panoramic views of the water village (Kampong Ayer), the Mosque and it’s surrounding area.

This recently completed walking area and its connecting pedestrian bridge allows for a wide range of vantage points from which to view the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque. Best times are early morning 6am onwards or for the beauty of the mosque lit up after 6.30pm. This is a safe and peaceful place to walk.

A small attractive park developed recently between the Sultan Omar Ali Mosque and the Brunei River developed for the Sultans 50th anniversary of rule in 2017. It is clean and well maintained with interesting features with informative panels on the history. You can stroll around the park or rent a double bicycle with canopy.

The recently Golden Jubilee Eco-Corridor Park is an attractive addition to the Bandar Landscape, connecting to the SOAS Mosque, Yayasan Mall & Water Village. It’s a great place for families and tourists, and is conducive for cyclists & joggers. Best time to go is early morning, or late afternoon. It can be a little dark at night, as some parts are not adequately lit.
Whilst the park is well landscaped( with some distinctive Imported African trees), I’d wish they regulated the Vendors better, as many of bicycles for hire are of a lower grade. The embankment on the other side of pedestrian bridge still requires to be turfed or tiled. Best views are from the bridge which is elevated.
This Park has to some extent revitalized Bandar: one wonders why it was not done sooner.
