The Night Market only sells food. I heard that it opens at 5:30 pm. The market has various local specialties, and many fruits. I saw a man opening a fruit that kind of looks like a coconut inside. It was a Durian. A lady who worked there put on her gloves, and gave me a free sample. It had a weird smell, and look but, the Durian tastes good.

Love the Gadong night market! Lots of choices for local food at very reasonable prices. You see locals and tourists there for meals and fruits. We tried the local red durian and really love it. Grilled fish, meat and sticky rice are all very good! Very clean and friendly stall owners. Highly recommend

This is very popular place for locals and tourists to go and experience Brunei food. Lots of choices: noodles, skewered meat/chicken, desserts and drinks. You can eat a nasi katok for B$1! I love the energy, variety and cheapeats!

i came here twice, once after 8:30 pm and another time an hour earlier tamu gadong stalls are open from 4-9 pm. however, after 8 pm, the good stuff will be sold out and the vendors are gone. but before 8 pm, it can be tricky to find parking as many locals also come here for dinner after work. it is the best place to get all the cheap and good eats under one roof. prices range from $1-$5. bring cash and enjoy yourself!

Come in the evening after 5pm as stall holders are ready to serve the evening gentle crowd. You can purchase local kuehs, fruit (wild durian season is now on), grilled fish, meats, satay, fried sweet and savouries. This will be a fun place for the serious snacker. For the uninitiated, you can try durians that are red and bright orange in colour, local mangos, kembayau (similar to an olive?). We even tried grilled chicken butt (Hahaha and it was delicious). A fun evening out if you are new to Brunei. For some pre dinner snacks or plenty of small bites that is equivalent to dinner. (Up to you!!)
