We joined the "bike the temples" from Siem Reap and the half day Mekong tour from Phnom Penh and really enjoyed both. The guides were excellent and very informative. The bike the temples was brilliant and the guide found us a quiet route in to Angkor Wat, and then took us to deserted temples. The cycling was fun. Would definitely... More

Well organised. Straightforward cycling for a couple in their 50's who are fit enough but not generally into biking. Friendly, outgoing guide - all had a good laugh! Some of the stops on the way were really interesting, including the tofu manufacture, lunch with locals but especially the family silk business

Will go brief since my draft "was not saved". Company provides everything. You start out into Phnom Penh traffic, almost enough thrill right there. Weekends less traffic; recommend. Ride to and along the Mekong to the ferry. Local ferry with wide range of Cambodians aboard. Great views. Vichet was an easy, sincere guide who brought a great deal personal charisma... More

Get the feel of countryside Cambodia...Paddy fields, Pagodas, smiling clapping children in villages, get a feel of silk weaving cottage industry..and eat local cuisine so delicious. A rough and tumble bike ride so adds to the fizz. No more than some 25 kms all put together ferried from one place to another, not tiring, just little tough on butt if... More

A short ferry ride across the Mekong feels like another world compared to the bustle of Phnom Penh. Vicheka, my guide, took me on a small ferry across the Mekong to farms, fields, and homes where families weave silk in the shade under their stilt houses on this half day tour. Continuing through two islands this ride was completely comfortable,... More

You meet at the office at 1:30pm to fit your bike, helmet and water bottle, they are really nice GT mountain bikes with suspension and disk brakes. No one else had booked so I got a private tour with a super kind and knowledgable, Vicheka!! You are driven out of the frantic PP traffic to a ferry which you cross... More

We did the half day tour with Vicheka today and it was so fun as well as informative. We visited two islands on the Mekong, riding past a variety of plantations (banana, mango, corn, sugar cane to name a few). We also stopped at a small river side fishing camp, a silk workshop and a tofu skin workshop. Vicheka then... More

Great fun and engaging. Tour guide was very chatty and happy to share about many aspects of life. Despite not riding for at least 10 years all was manageable and at an easy pace. Stops break up the journey and provide more insights into island life: silk production, tofu, temple life... And village life. A many time visitor to Phnom... More

I highly recommend Grasshopper Adventures 1/2 day Phnom Penh Mekong/Silk islands tour . Our guide was great,(excellent English and great fun,but also very knowlegible about Cambodian life) it's a thrilling ride over gravel and bumpy roads, through banana plantations, past lemongrass and local fruits groves, stopping to see the Brahman cows and the silk worms.I was privileged to be able to attend the... We booked the morning tour out of Phnom Penh around the Mekong Islands and had a fantastic time. The bicycles were in excellent condition and comfortable, the team ensured everyone had the right size bike, adjusted properly and helmets. They were friendly and knowleable about the places we visited throughout the day and provided sufficient breaks and snacks along the... More
