I went on the Alternative Cambodia tour and could not have enjoyed it more despite only having bought my first DSLR camera two weeks prior to the trip. I have come home with amazing photos and a real zest for learning more about photography. The tour was extremely well organised and everything from tuition, locations, food and accommodation was fantastic.... More

I joined Nathan and a group of photographers for the 4 to 5-day Angkor tour. It was beyond my expectations in so many ways. Nathan is a great photographer and he shared that knowledge and experience unconditionally with us all. He also has many friends among the locals, including Buddhist monks and nuns, who clearly hold him in very high... More

Thanks Sharon - It always a pleasure to be teaching/guiding some one with your level of enthusiasm and I am very happy to see you your wonderful results being posted on FB. As you know I also believe my tours to be more than a photography tour precisely because photography is the perfect tool to get to know a culture... More

I consider myself an advanced beginner who wants to become more intentional with my photography. During a recent stay in Siem Reap, I inquired to book a 1 day workshop with Nathan to join for the last day on an ongoing tour. It was quite last minute but Nathan was great and accepted my booking request and i was happy... More

Naomi Roberts took us to particularly photogenic sights at the right times of day to take advantage of the light. She also got us into places, like a Buddhist temple, that we would never have otherwise seen. The tour was well organized, making optimal use of our time.

This photography tour through Cambodia was much more than great photo opportunities, we had a great group, transportation was first class (thanks Kiri), & Nathan showed us more of the real life & culture throughout our locations and gave us the ability to engage with the people that would not be possible by the typical tour operator. Also & very... More

Recently I was fortunate enough to participate in the Nathan Horton Photography tour of Cambodia. I was a reluctant novice but it was such a fantastic experience, that I choose to combine two tours and continue on to Myanmar. Over the two trips we visited iconic temples, dramatic countryside, remote villages, stunning pagodas, excellent local restaurants, fishing ports, train stations,... More

I and my wife wanted to visit Cambodia but since I am an avid photographer, I really wanted to do a workshop with someone who was very familiar with the area. Nathan was the man! So I and and my wife booked the Cambodia 11 day tour for December 2015. We had a wonderful time! Nathan is a great guy!... More

My friend and I recently joined Nathan on his tour around the incredible Angkor region. Nathan has spent years building an amazing itinerary and a network of local contacts which takes this tour to a level far above anything else you might be able to experience in this region. The first afternoon spent on a Photography 101 workshop means that... More

I did lots of research of different photographic tours, held in different countries before hand but it was Nathan's tour that stood out to me..... I was not disappointed. During our workshops Nathan talked in a language I understood, not too highbrow or technical, from a beginners perspective. The trips to the temples were out of this world! The close... More

My husband and I love photography so decided to try a tour with an emphasis on taking good pictures. We were so lucky to have found this tour in Cambodia with Nathan Horton. As he guided us through the country it was obvious that he had a love for both the people of Cambodia and for photography. Because of this... More
