An institution that has revived and surged on since the recent death of one of the original owners a few months ago and I am glad they are booking a wider range of bands than before when it was repetitive. Great staff and a new kitchen is bring Sharky back to a great venue

Not on the Riverfront, but close. Doesn't really get going till 9 pm or so. Serves western and asian food, a little on the expensive side. Lots of European expats and tourists. Mostly single men, but some couples. Extensive staff. Large bar area with tables spread around the bar. Has a couple of pool tables. Recommend a visit for anyone... More

Great spot for Phnom Penh underground music. For honest to goodness camaraderie among local expat gents, positive vibes and a very friendly and well trained staff, Sharky's is the place to go. The place feels like a huge biker's bar. Billiard tables, bar at the center, good selection of beers, rock n'roll music and the visits of mature Khmer hookers... More

We went for a pool tournament which was quite good but the bar itself seemed a bit overpriced which kind of killed the vibe. Appeared to be mainly populated by expats which is usually a good sign. Probably not the best bar in Phnom Penh to start a night out in but it would be nice for a couple of... More

Hi Emily! The beers are $1-50 to clarify that and we do need to finance the good pool tables, as you say, the big bar and the live music. Cheers to your group! More

I have been to Sharkys many times and a night is yet to dissapoint me. They attract some of Phnom Penhs greatest music talents, with classic Rock n Roll being the main genre for the venue. Every Wednesday they host a pool tournament where you play on arguably the nicest pool tables in the city for a meagre 2 dollar... More

Sharky bar is oldest live rock and roll bar in Indochina. Already 20 years of good, bad and ugly bands. Past two months style of bar has return back to roots which means rock, drinks, snack and maybe learn to know local people. Beside these issues prices of drinks has dropped and many issues have been fixed.Good place to visit... More

Sitting in Sharkys as I write this. Order drinks before the "happy hour" but their computer is 15 minutes fast, so when I questioned why not happy hour prices, I was told computer says 8.10pm, I guess Phnom Penh is 6 hours 15 minutes ahead of GMT. What is topping off a terrible evening in what can only be described... More

Hey there! Thanks for your review. We are much quicker with the kitchen now. And precise with the watch. And looking good! So, we might have gone downhill quick, but we actually found the entrance to the ski gondola and are going uphill slow. Hope to see you next time. More

Nice dive bar style that often plays live music. The bar is clean and the staff are friendly. The music choice is good and there is a good general atmosphere around. It's a nice bar for a few drinks though I can't say much for the food. Prices are reasonable and I will happily return again
