We were really looking forward to our sunset cruise with Crocodile Cruises given the great reviews they have. However, after cutting our day sight seeing short to ensure we were back at our hotel for our 4.30 pick up our driver failed to show up....More
We arrived to a strange riverside area that is not really a dock and were unsure about the cruise. However we set off on time, had 2 beers each, peanuts and a fruit platter. We saw the sunset behind the city skyline which was very...More
This tour was recommended to us and it was a good way to end our Cambodia trip. We were given a small handful of peanuts and some fruit. We had one coke and two beers. The 'guide' spoke to us once and then we were...More
We visited Phnom Penh beginning of April and we loved the sound of this trip. It certainly did not disappoint! We had a lovely time, we were picked up from our hotel, the staff were lovely and welcomed us on board. Fresh drinks and nibbles...More
Picked up at hotel and taken to great old riverboat. We were lucky enough to have been the only two to have booked the tour this morning, so it was very personal and relaxing.

Boat from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh takes about 6 hours and costs $US30. Boat from Phnom Penh to Chau Doc (on Vietnam-Cambodia border) costs about the same and takes about 4-5 hours (see bluecruisers). You'll need to take a bus from Chau Doc to Ho Chi Minh City (aka Saigon). Cost is about $US10-12.
You'll need to organise your Vietnamese visa ahead of time, as border control at Chau Doc DOES NOT issue visas.
A bus from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh costs $US8-12.
Luxury cruises are considerable more expensive, and take several days between ports.
Hope this helps.
