Palace of peace and reconciliation is impressive building that deserves a visit. It looks great from outside but is even more interesting inside. But keep in mind that you can not walk around by yourself but must take a tour that starts every half hour. It has music hall in the basement, grand hall and beautiful stairs surrounded by plants... I am usually not a sucker for these kind of these tourist attractions but astana is full of them so i end up visiting quite a few. It is a beautiful lace with impressive architectural solutions. The guided tour is mandatory and i am glad. 45 minutes well spent!

This object contains almost nothing interesting or special to watch. Indeed it is not a must visit place in Astana. Also keep in mind bad service from personnel.

Interesting architecture from Norman Foster. Lifts travel inside slant sides of pyramid, rather than up centre apex. Very beautiful stained glass with doves (of peace) at top. Only visible from inside. You have to be guided - included in modest entry fee. Tour takes 20 minutes. Wheelchair access limited.

The pyramid building is located nearby many attractions places like the national museum, president memorial and big mosque; so can't be missed at all! Also can enjoy nice city view up hill location of the pyramid.

A lovely young lady gave tourists a short tour of the opera house and top floor. I love the pigeon glasses on the top floor, as well as the plants on the wall all the way to the top floor.

I've tried four times over three years to see this building. This year, there was an exhibition on and the entrance price (2000 tenge) was double the usual one and did not allow access to the main parts of the building. Staff were unhelpful. Ah well - maybe next time!
