Beautiful Presidential Palace, official residence of the President of Laos. You can move close enough and take pictures through the gates for unobstructed view. The rating of “3” is a result of being only able to “look” at it; but let’s be realistic here, this...More

Imposing building completed in 1986 is the official residence of the Lao president. Thankfully we had seen other reviews and knew we could not enter grounds let alone get it. Impressive building yes, but as an attraction only average as you can see very little

Like most government building I saw Laos is still a developing country. I didn't see one security on around the premises.

Just another palace with gate. No entry for tourist. It is decent building, nice to take photo, but yeah, it is what a palace should be and it is gated.

The layout is amazing and a lot of money has gone into this palace. It has been very well planned. Worth just a quick look.

Beautiful gargantuan edifice at the base of Lane Xiang, Vientiane's grand boulevard. Palace isn't open to the public, just a photo op from outside the gates.
