Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We enjoyed the visit to this humble museum in the middle of busy Ulaanbaatar. It has but three rooms, but many interesting artifacts. A guide is included in the admission, a mere 1500 tugrik. Highlights were many old photos of the city, Soviet era paintings, and large vintage maps. There is also an exquisitely carved elephant ivory showing city landmarks. We went for the special exhibit of photographs from 1909-1911 taken by a Frenchman. For a quick sample of life in the city of UB, this place is recommended.

We happened upon this place from our hotel en route to an Indian lunch. We saw hot small it was and decided to venture in anyways. The price was only 1,500MT so you get what you pay for. The spacing is tight and I was scared to knock things over. I was told no photos and couldn’t believe it! Then as I come to understand on my tour of Ulaanbaatar, you have to pay for photos. I didn’t appreciate this at all. Whatever, the place was small and then I clammed because of the photo thing and left.
