It is accessible by Shakarparian road. parking is free at owner’s risk. Entry fee is Rs 20 for adults local and free for children. Foreigners will pay approx 1£.
It is actually complex comprised of open area namely (Pakistan Monument) where there is engraved images of Pakistan’s history, famous Places of Pakistan and Indo-Pakistan civilisation.
Due to high altitude u can have bird’s eye view of whole Islamabad and can capture snaps to cherish.

Important. Face mask is necessary to be worn due to pandemic situation.

Don’t forget to visit monument Museum located inside complex

I really enjoyed my visit to the Pakistan Monument.
There is large car parking area close-by and a short walk then takes you through to the actual monument.
Visiting the monument was free.
I loved its unique architecture. The intricacies and workmanship of its design were amazing and I really enjoyed my time closely viewing the monument.
Its location is equally amazing. It is in an elevated position affording the visitor a wonderful uninterrupted vista of Islamabad.
There is also a cafe / gift shop close-by and the monument museum.
It is definitely worth visiting and also looks amazing illuminated at night.

Sitting atop Shakerparian Hills, it's a place worth going to for panoramic views of the capital. With nominal fee and ample parking, its a good place for a day out. It has a history museum attached to it which is an added bonus.
P.S. take your own water/cold drinks and hats as not much coverage from sun.

It gives you a very short and brief history of Pakistan. One must visit to see and learn about the homeland. The location is easily accessible through taxis and by walk as well. It also gives you a nice view of Islamabad Margilla Hills and Faisal Mosque.

The Pakistan Monument has become a national monument and located on the Shakarparian Hills in Islamabad. The monument was constructed and inaugurated in the year 2007 during Gen. Musharaf regime. It symbolize the unity of the Pakistani people who sacrificed their "today" for a better "tomorrow". Its elevation makes the monument visible from across the Islamabad-Rawalpindi metropolitan area and is a popular tourist destination.
The monument is easily accessible from famous Islamabad highway and Kashmir highway near to zero point junction. There is separate Parking slot designated for visiting this area, the parking cost 30 Rs per car. Also there is an entrance ticket of 20 Rs. Per person for entering the monument area. I have visited this place several times, but during my last visit the area was too much crowded because of Eid vacations. Inside the area is vastly spread with all marble tiled flooring there is no plantation inside because of this it becomes too hot during day times. Better to visit this place in evening. Inside there is also famous Heritage museum with separate entrance tickets.
