Not the most beautiful temple, but an interesting place - bringing together indoor and outdoor temples with an oldtimer car collection , a holy tree and a religious museum ressembling a rag shop - and an elephant....

The ace architect Geoffery Bawa has designed this beautiful Buddha temple on water. It’s small but beautiful. There is a common ticket for this temple & Gangaramaya temple that is just two minutes away. Must go..

This one the lake temple of Colombo. You need a ticket and which include both this and gangaramaya temple. Beautiful and worth visit.

Its open on daily basis execpt if there is a renovation or special buddhist events take place. Basically open at 8.00am till 6. 00pm.
