We visited this zoo during our SriLanka visit in December 2017. Its a lovely park and very well maintained. I was excited about Giraffe and Zebra, we don't get to see them in most zoos. Overall it was worth the visit.

You could easily get it from the gate and not necessary to book in advance. avoid the weekends if possible as it gets really crowded.
