Although still quite impressive from the outside, the building has not been maintained and is quite empty on the inside. There is a fast food restaurant at one end and a small supermarket then lots of open space. Quite sad.

This building, right at the harbour is part of the towns colonial history. Hard to miss when you stroll around the area.

This may have been the first department store in Colombo, and it doesn't appear to have changed since. The interior is a dark store with unimpressive stock on the shelves. Definitely needs a refurb, which can be done without ruining the character of the place.
