This is another Urban Buddhist Temple in Colombo. There is nothing special to see. You may visit to warship Lord Buddha.

Good Buddhist temple. Can spend 30min here. Not as grandiose as Gangaramaya. If you have visited Gangaramaya and if you are not into Buddhism you can skip this.

This is quite a large temple complex. Lots of visitors, local and tourists. Beautiful statues. A very old tree where many people are seated. Also a large collection of everything which was ever donated. From expensive to weird and junk.

Don't be fooled by the modest exterior of this temple, originally built in 1870's. Step inside and behold some of the most exquisite and lavish murals depicting early 20th century buddist art. You must remove shoes and hats.

THis is my first temple I have ever seen and I won't forget it. I love it. There is a huge Buddah, a huge tree... Such a good atmosphere

Didn't see too many tourists when we visited, but certainly worth checking out. 30 minutes is more than sufficient.

Walk up steep steps, when you get to the top you have to remove shoes. Amazing place, never seen anything like it. Well worth a visit

It was our cab driver who took us over to this temple. I must surely say that this place is amazing and breathtaking. If you are looking for a peaceful tour, do visit this place when you are in Colombo.
